[Weapon Concept Art] Grineer Tool Primary Weapons

These are Grineer weapons that can also be used as repair or construction tools. I noticed that weapons like the Gremlins (nail guns), Spectra and Flux Rifle (welding tools or cutters), and the Miter (Saw tool thing) could be used as tools by those factions. I just decided to create two more primary weapons for the Grineer that could fit into this category.

 

Quick sketch and coloring below.

 

There is the Rivet, Bolt or Rebar crossbow "Hastak". Works similar to the Attica and Bows in the game; has to charge before firing and is loaded through a magazine (which doubles as the stock in this case). This makes for a really deadly combo. Should be a sort of even mix between Impact and Puncture. Used dominantly by Grineer for a temporary fix in the hull of a ship or for construction of new structures in the Phobos outposts. 

 

Then there is the Tri-beam laser welding tool known as the "Hydra". It works similar to the Phage, but it has three points from which it fires instead of seven. It should also do heat damage instead of viral. It is used for welding and repairs of ship hulls and other structures or used for general repairs in the shipyards.

It was cool until I saw crossbow. I'm still recovering from the psychological damage of the attica.

Yeah, the Attica was pretty diaspointing. The Hasak would be the perfect mix though: it charges like a bow and has a magazine. When they introduced the Attica, I expected it to work that way or be semi automatic.

I figured as much too when I saw the box on top of the cross bow, that's usually an indicator that your dealing with a repeating crossbow as demonstrated here:

 

 

I would love to see an actual pneumatic crossbow like yours put into the game, maybe then the bolts will move faster than a arrow! I love the idea of construction equipment being turned into weapons (Twin Gremlins are one of my favorite pistols in the game)
