Ryitus
look in shop prices So you're upset about warframes changing from 20-30k to 100k - 150k Understandable.
damnagic
Wow, that was an surprising turn of events, I assumed they'd rather reduce everything like how much you gain exp or credits (current rates only for beta testing) rather than putting in huge numbers, those are always scary and pushy. Yeah same here, and if it's gonna be 100k for OBT or release , I'm might just quit LOL ,
frostyrose
i love the 100k pricepoint. honestly if i had not bought dual sakana's, branton and a new pistol i could have bought 2-3 warframes including the ASH i already bought for 20k. i was a little concerned because honestly buying warframes was way to easy and leveling them up was almost as. my starting volt took long to max all upgrades (level 16) but my ash is already 1/2 way there with less missions

Leveling warframes isn't really an issue seeing how you bassicly max out everything statwise atm at lvl 17 I think.
Rosh
I'm OK with increasing the price tag on warframes they were way too cheap but why the hell is the revive price 3-4 times higher? Before the patch I had to pay ~350-400 credits to revive rank 5 warframe and ~1500 for a lvl 15 frame. Now I have to pay over 1500 for lvl 5 frame and don't even want to know how much for lvl 15-16 one >_>.
[DE]Steve
Rosh, it works a bit like Borderlands. Its a ratio of how much money you have.
Ryitus
Rosh, it works a bit like Borderlands. Its a ratio of how much money you have. Oooooh I hate that, Because that is the FASTEST way to become broke in borderlands. Either you grind levels to get stronger or you grind missions for money
Akaichi
100K+ is fine if they give you more incentive to stay with your original Frame like more skill points or abilities.
[DE]Skree
Longevity is a good thing. I too get bored of games where i unlock everything super quick. Dangle that carrot on a stick for me a little longer, and ill play along! We need time to get used to (and master) our warframes before we can even think about buying new ones... at the rate it was before, you could effectively buy a new frame every game, if you found and sold a handful of mods. Got my first frame purchase after 1 game... just sold my stuff for credits...

Rosh
Rosh, it works a bit like Borderlands. Its a ratio of how much money you have. I see... But do you really think that it's a good system in this game? In BL you don't really need cash other than for achievments since you get weapons and other stuff from drops. In Warframe there's no other way to get weapons and warframes than to buy them with cash so we kinda have to grind it therefore punishing us for doing so feels like a really bad idea. Why not just have it scale with your warframe or profile rank?
[DE]Steve
Rosh - thanks for you comments and ideas. I feel its too early to tell. Your other suggestions are solid but there are trade-offs (high level warframe but broke = no revive/ragequit mission, profile rank = optional advancement/exploit). Consequence for death in games is all over the map these days (permadeat<->COD shrug it off). I favor consequences that are large enough for people to play more carefully. The bigger problem right now how weakly near-death is communicated.
Zingalto
right now it's costing me 13k to revive in a mission. is it really supposed to get that high?
Reiken
I like the consequences for death as is. No perma death but good god does your wallet hurt if you have lots of money. But I would also like for other players to revive you. I know Trinity is the specialist for that but it seems pointless to let everyone know a player is down if they cant help them at all. Also... I have a rant around here somewhere about an idea for the Tenno rank. Not sure if you've seen it. I should probably find it and make it its own thread. You don't need to amass all those piles of money just so it can be taken away. You don't get taxed based on the value of items that you have in your inventory. wink wink. I have 6k credits.
