Now that the rare mods have a lowered drop chance, what's the most efficient way of just farming mods? I still need North Wind and the chance of it dropping now seems so quite small :p

if your statement is true well im lucky i got mine to lv 3 before the patch XD

Find the mission/area that has the most of said targets

I am hoping that higher the emeny level, drop rate increase

Been trying to look but it some people say that its completely random that every mob can drop every mod :s I am also kind of hoping that higher level of area would equal higher chance of rare mods

Certain factions seem to have a higher chance of dropping a specific kind of mod. Infected is generally accepted as being a good source, especially for the sheer quantity of mods obtained. To the best of my knowledge, higher level mobs DO NOT necessarily drop better/rarer mods.
