Multishot?

I just have a question about multishot mods.

I put one on my Gorgon recently, and I noticed that whenever it kicks in, it uses up a second bullet from my clip. By reading some other posts before, I was under the impression that it wouldn't actually use a second bullet from my clip. So... what is multishot ACTUALLY supposed to do?

Multishot fires an extra shot every so often without taking up an extra bullet.

The extra bullet thing comes from an attempted fix of the feact that if your fps lagged you would shoot your automatic guns slower for lower dps, and vice versa for when you had high fps.

So if I'm understanding this right, the fact that it takes an extra bullet out of the clip is a bug caused by one of the hotfixes?

Can anyone confirm this was fixed? The rapid loss of ammo made me sick to my stomach.

I can confirm that it SEEMS fixed. I haven't noticed any extra ammo being taken out. I'm only one person though, so the issue may still be there for others. It's also possible that they just made it not happen as often. After 15 minutes of playing, I haven't even seen it occur once though.

Patch notes contain:

Rollback frame-rate dependency fixes for automatic weapons (too much fallout, but this is fixed properly soon)

That is what was causing the ammo consume glitch on automatic weaponry.
