I just picked this game up so I don't know everything about it yet but I've noticed that when my game crashed all my settings reset back to default. I figured that was because of the crash.

So, I started the game again and set all my video options and key bindings again and exited the game just so the settings could be saved but for some reason it didn't save my options.

Also everytime I quit the game I have to go into taskmanager and shut the game down because the game doesn't turn off properly.

Just wanted to let the devs know, I did a search first but didn't noticed any threads about it, if I did however miss a thread about it or posted this in the wrong forum I apologize.

i really hate it how when every time i log back in game local reflections is always ticked when i just want it unticked

Seconded, I normally play the game at 1366x768 with all the effects unticked. Quit, restart Warframe, and the resolution switches to 1280x768, and as aboce local reflections is ticked again.

I just noticed that running the game as windows admin actually makes the game remember all the settings, except the resolution as you guys said. (why it doesn't run as admin in the first place is beyond me and how my windows can't know that I'm admin is also beyond me but oh well)

Good to have figured that one out.

But still, the whole game not shutting down properly on exit is still there.

If you've installed Warframe to a Program Files directory in Vista or Windows 7, you'll have to assign the program admin rights so that it can edit the configuration files, because Program Files and Program Files (x86) are now protected directories. Being logged in as an admin does not automatically confer administrator rights to the program itself.

Incidentally, I haven't had any issues with Warframe saving my settings and I don't run it as admin under Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. I installed it to the default directory, which I believe correctly puts the config files in App Data where it can be modified without admin rights.
