(PSN)Doktor_Molotov Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Thanks to extensive Brakk-farming, the Grineer are slowly being pushed out of almost every node on PS4. This wouldn't be too bad, until you realise that some of the rarer stance-mods only drop on certain planets by rarer enemies. Recently a friend tried to get the nikana stance mod that drops from Arid/Frontier butchers and simply couldn't because the only survival/defence in which arid butchers make an appearance are now corpus-owned, and the only survival/defense in which frontier butchers appear was at the time attacked by the Infested. It gets worse hunting for the Grim Fury stance that drops from Grineer Powerfists. The only node I could find them on was a single sabotage that hadn't been taken from the Grineer on Saturn, and that was painful when they only appear about 5 per mission. They supposedly most commonly appear on Grineer capture missions, and these things don't even exist any more. They also might appear along with Flameblades on invasions, but to help the Corpus in order to kill them would just be contributing to the problem. There are now only two planets left with any sort of Grineer presence: Earth and Ceres. And that's kind of sad to see. Some suggestions: * Reset the Star Map to it's original ownership based off tileset. * Buff the stats of the Detron, and have the Grineer offer better invasion rewards to give players incentive to farm something other than the G3 * Have invasion ownership of nodes be temporary, lasting a week. * Spread the rarer enemies out more, including placing them on Survivals in which you wouldn't normally see them.
RespectTheInternet Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Or revamp the invasion system. Or redo the drop tables. Those might help also.
(PSN)Lord_Gremlin Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 We need Arid and Frontier Corpus. I'm ok with 100% corpus map. Plus, Grineer have outer Terminus Node and will have 2 nodes on Neptune which both had 25000 Corpus vs 35000 Grineer. That's 3, THREE nodes. That's enough Grineer. In Prod we Trust.
(PSN)Doktor_Molotov Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 We need the variety, honestly. Grineer used to be my worst nightmare with their various fire-based attackers. Nowadays, I'd rather play Grineer maps because the enemies are more challenging. It would be nice to see a lot more flameblades about the place even if they look out-of-place with a prova in their hand.
(PSN)Daikon177 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I couldn't agree more with this. And great first post too!
Eyeless Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) It was like this for us PC players with the Corpus when the Detron first made its way into the drop tables. Then it sort of balanced itself out both in the battle pay the Corpus offered and the introduction of the Brakk. Since then, things have been pretty even and we have pretty consistent faction nodes all over the starchart. The PS4 players must really want the Brakk, though it's not the best side-arm anymore. Get the word out, there's options! Edited May 13, 2014 by Hastur609

(PSN)Doktor_Molotov Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 I couldn't agree more with this. And great first post too! Thanks. I'm a fairly experienced longtime player. Founded one of the top Ghost Clans on the PS4, The Rebirth of Slick. Will probably be participating more as me and my friends talk over ideas. Saint122 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Funny, I was just having similar concerns about Jupiter on PC, b/c one of the enemies swirling tiger drops from is the anti-moa, and they only appear at Jupiter, and the grineer seem to have taken several of those nodes already. I think the infestation are currently there too (on PC).
Saint122 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I don't see why everyone wants the Brakk though. I personally didn't think it sounded that great after the nerf, and I don't see a lot of people using it. Maybe it's different on PS4 though.
(PSN)Doktor_Molotov Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 The Brakk is awesome and the only secondary I use anymore for anything serious. There are few things that top it, but that's not the topic for discussion.

Well no one is disagreeing with you and I think I heard that DE is planning on changing some stuff with invasions but we just dont know when. They would have to be blind not to notice the horribly imbalanced star chart this has caused so im sure they'll fix it...eventuality....
