TacDrol
Okay so the first time I had an extended mission, I was like "whoa, that's cool, there's even more to this mission?", but it quickly went from awesome to just bothersome. I'm about to finish a mission and instead I get sent on something even longer without an increased reward, it gets really annoying. Please add some kind of "compensation" for those prolonged missions, even a simple worded promise of "This mission just got interesting, go do blah blah blah, your efforts will be rewarded." would be enough to lure the player into a sense of not wasting his time. It could also be an optional mission, with additional rewards instead of a forced one, you could decide whether to go to extraction point or complete the secondary objective beforehand. Toddwjp
Make them shorter, speed run. Some times you just finish and then bam more stuff, and if I can't be bothered then its time to sprint through.
vieuxchat
Those second objectives could lead to specials encounters : you had to raid, then you have to sabotage. You do it successfully (have a limited timer for instance. Failing it wouldn't fail the main mission) and you get a special mission where you get an SOS from someone that was spying for you on that vessel you just destroyed and you have to rescue him. Mr.Mango
I totally agree. I don't mind longer missions, actually I like them. Who doesn't want to show some poor shocked hostage how you absorb the guy on the ship into your hands? :P BUt there should definatly be some kind of reward, maybe X amount of the rarest resource from this planet? Like 120 rubedo or so on earth?
