Add Charge Back But Using Normal Damage Mods That Boost Charge Dmg And Normal

I was thinking about this there was no real need to take charge away :( adding it in again wont be hard (unless DE deleted the coding for it LOL)

 

Then we could all have those animations back, throw kestrel and glaive (while its equipt) and it would add more substance to melee 2.0

 

think about id DE pls i wanna throw me glaive on melee only missions :(

 

and it shoudnt break melee 2.0 if it uses normal base dmg mods elemental etc.

There's no point in bringing charge attack back, it's gone and you 'll have to deal with it.

You -can- throw the Glaives/Kestrel while it's in your hand. (Pro-tip: It's Swing+Holdswing)

i dont understand.

 

if you can still perform the charge attack of the glaive, how was it "taken away" exactly?

 

whether or not charged attacks are brought back into the game as a whole, the glaive will still work like it does now. the lack of equipped insta-throw is by no means intentional, and you should have no reason to think so, especially since DE said they were working on fixing it.

The new system is somewhat great but, what about the weapons like the dark sword which revolved around charge attacks. I mean sure back then the mash "E,E,E,E" is worse than now "E,E,pause...E,E" But really it was just galatine+charge.

Or simply make stances that will turn regular attacks into charge ones. Increased damage and other fine things that come with charge.

 

 

Channeling was one of laziest idea that DE had. "Oh, we need second attack mode for new melee! Lets add shiny onto regular attacks and call it "Channeling"!".

Don't care for charge attacks anymore.  I suppose some of the one or two swings that some weapons have when not equipped are a little wonky, but then I remember doing a charge attack over and over again looked even worse.

 

I'd personally would want the hold E to be hold R, or do attacks between the melee and reload buttons, or some ideal way to practice the hold E or pause E timing for each of the weapons, because it can vary wildly between weapons and their animation speeds.
