Help Me Run Warframe Better?

Question

Posted

Um sorry new to the forums so sorry if im not posting this in the right section. Anyways I have a Gateway NE56R34u laptop and it really sucks at running Warframe, I have to play at 800x600 resolution and I still get like 15-20fps(sometimes 10!). I have some money to spare but not enough to buy a new pc so is there anything I can buy/change for my laptop that will run the game better? Like graphics card, etc? And if so can u suggest any specific hardware? Thanks in advanced

Looking at the specs, it seems like the bottleneck would be your graphics processor. With that amount of memory, you're basically running GLaDOS when she was a potato.

Join the "morons with prebuilt laptops from '09 who can barely run this game yet sink 6-7 months into it and can't quit" club, friend.

Mine runs vista.

Wow, I suddenly feel good about my computer, at least I can get 30fps everywhere except Earth. Try playing with the lowest FOV, the game won't have to render as many things on the screen. Also, you can try buying a USB key to use Windows ReadyBoost with in order to get more ram.

Ill look into game booster and readyboost and also i dont mind buying a little hardware, just dont want to buy a new pc

Laptops are notoriously hard to improve, especially the graphics processor. When everything is crammed into that little space, you can't just swap parts out whenever you want.
