I got a "20% OFF" reward from the lotus at login ... the first ever in nearly 5 months ... until now I only got XP rewards although I'm playing daily ... fun game ... like it a lot ...
So I decided to check this reward ... and since this was my first ever (off on plat buy) I thought why not go big ... I took the 4300p one ... 159.99 USD instead of 199.99 USD ... still much I know ...
The only payment option was steam (as is mentioned in the faq somewhere ... I believe ... no problem with that) ...
My problem ... how do 159.99 USD equal 143.99 EUR ... even if I add the VAT of my country (germany 19%) it is way to high ...
According to some google-research 1 USD = 0.73 EUR (as of May 15, 2014) ... taking this 159.99 USD = 116.60 EUR ... adding 19% VAT = 138.75 EUR ... that leaves 5.23 EUR I can't figure out ...
Can somebody pls enlighten me ...
PS: I pressed the "Cancel" text to clear this ... and got a nice text:
"transaction failed for oderID xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx failed
It looks as if something is wrong here ... which should be looked into as well ...
It takes a bit of time and I'm redirected to some FAQ-page that tells me what mistakes I could have possibly made to cause this problem ... funny I already know ... I pressed "cancel transaction" ... just as a side note (I used the steam-browser) ...
PPS: I can't post screenshots ... but I have them should someone from DE need them to verify this ...
