Guest khk6 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Now shoots 3 disks instead of 1. 750 damage total. Good job DE :)
Undead_Zeratul Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Is that by default? Or did you have a multi-shot mod on there?
--Q--WaffleZ Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 *equipping the miter* Holy... my miter got 11K corrosive, 5K slash damage on a status screen. I have to test this thing out.
Warriorrogue Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) Please tell me this is true Please tell me this is true PLEASE Nothing's changed on the wiki, but someone's mentioned it. Could it be?... Edited May 15, 2014 by Warriorrogue
--Q--WaffleZ Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) *came back from the test* Please tell me this is true Please tell me this is true PLEASE Nothing's changed on the wiki, but someone's mentioned it. Could it be?... It not even in the patch note. I tested it and... I felt it might be just a bug. Yes, it shoot triple blades now, but it seem not to hit enemy properly and it even spreading on horizontal more when using high caliber. Edited May 15, 2014 by warf2013
JefPlays Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Huh. I'd noticed that Eviscerators had gained the ability to fire theirs in very rapid succession (like near a Braton fire rate). Not sure what that's about, though with this development... well, the Miter became a lot more interesting I think.

Arunafeltz Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Have they finally let the charged shot fire three blades?
Archistopheles Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 It's getting attention from DE. That's the real upside here!!
Dalu__Ka Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 It's getting attention from DE. That's the real upside here!! Zing!
Undead_Zeratul Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I wonder if this is a side-effect from the charge-shot from the new rocket launcher? wondering if they changed how charged shots work, in that they fire multiple projectiles now... Wonder if this works with other charge weapons. I saw a thread mentioning something similar with the Drakgoon, could be related as well.
--Q--WaffleZ Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I check the wiki, it damage is 12/12/225. The new damage from codex is 37.5/37.5/675.0, it's triple from the old one.
yles9056 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 What the hell!?!? I just sold my Miter. : ( It's time it get it back. To da Iliad!
Mokkania Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I don't want to test it until it's confirmed as official change
shut Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I don't want to test it until it's confirmed as official change This. I'm scared of getting attached to it only to have it tragically taken away from me. For those who've tested it so far (I have to get home first), does it feel like a truly intended mechanic, or does it feel like something that sort of accidentally bled over from the rocket pistol?
--Q--WaffleZ Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) The damage change is real. With corrosive build without heavy caliber, it can one-shot-kill everything at orokin tower up to LV 30. Don't strap a high caliber mod to it, it will make miter become a low pellet shotgun that hardly hit anything. Edited May 15, 2014 by warf2013
SlyBoots Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) *giggles madly* and i'm the one that liked the miter in its previous state already, added two or three polarized slots. so thanks for bringing it to our attention. :) Edited May 15, 2014 by SlyBoots
TDS0Spoderman Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Just did a test : it fires 3 blades without multishot and 3 blades w/o it , however it deals more damage with multishoot
Noble_Cactus Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Just did a test : it fires 3 blades without multishot and 3 blades w/o it , however it deals more damage with multishoot Maybe each blade is actually two occupying the same space, so you're actually firing six?
TDS0Spoderman Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 It could be, but w/o some video editor to slow down the frames and check its very hard to tell
Edgedemon Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Don't strap a high caliber mod to it, it will make miter become a low pellet shotgun that hardly hit anything. mitter was originally for aimed shots and heavy caliber doesn't work on that kind of gun
Edgedemon Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 umm still using sniper ammo. 3 blades too spread to use in its intended mid range inconsistent with multishot mods while i do want my mitter to get some love this seems more like a is a copy - paste bug ill wait until a few more hotfixes before getting happy
Warriorrogue Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 umm still using sniper ammo. 3 blades too spread to use in its intended mid range inconsistent with multishot mods while i do want my mitter to get some love this seems more like a is a copy - paste bug ill wait until a few more hotfixes before getting happy It it the heaviest hitting weapon in the game. While I agree it's most likely a bug, I'm building one just in case.DE decides that this is the buff it needs. I'd be happy with sniper ammo.
--Q--WaffleZ Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 mitter was originally for aimed shots and heavy caliber doesn't work on that kind of gun Before this buff (bug?), heavy caliber is needed to make it kill LV25-30 mob in one shot. LV7 HC make it spread around the crosshair approximately 1 inch diameter, shorten it effective range.
