Is It Ok To Use Macros?

Couldn't find anything approaching proper confirmation of if this was alright or not.

I mean really basic stuff like using Setpoint to have an M1 spamming button so you don't feel like you're killing your mouse when you end up using a semi-auto weapon against a boss or something.

I use a simple spam melee and spam shot button macros. Its not really much faster for melee as clicks = multiple attacks on faster weapons, and for semi-auto weapons the recoil tends to be pretty hard to work around when shooting at max speed.

I figure if you can do it without the macro its pretty safe/allowable. Just saves my fingers some pain :D
