Ash - (coming around a few more corners, likely to follow the rest of the above changes at a later week): -Shuriken: Added forced bleed proc to attacks, no change to base damage. This should help buff the damage to Shuriken without making its direct damage over-the-top. -Teleport: Enemies are now open to finishers when teleported to, giving it more aggressive utility in order to make Teleport more appealing for use in combat. -Blade Storm: Now produces clones of Ash, enabling him to kill more targets quickly. Ash will also re-attack targets if they survive the initial attack. Added forced bleed procs to Blade Storm strikes. The change to Blade Storm should also shorten the amount of time a player is stuck in Blade Storm dramatically, without a reduction in damage or looking cool. Right now, we look cool buzzing around, stabbing mooks, but when we get the update to Bladestorm we'll get a shorter burst of the awesome. What if we could have all the awesome we'd miss from the clones going off? I propose a split screen with each portion following a different clone. Quick mockup: What say you, fellow Tenno?

shut Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I think that seeing your own Ash in action, as we do now, but with several identical Ashes in the background doing their own crazy ninja killing-spree thing would be pretty hard to top in terms of badassery. Splitscreening it would only distract from how awesome the animations are.

I don't know-- If it was splitscreen at all-- it would have to be a "flash" thing where maybe 3 max are up at a time but one fades in as another fades out etc.. sort of blending the idea and making it not look purely "split screened" which might prove too much work- as I think they can do something just as good if not cooler. Like (SortaRandom) said above, seeing clones in the background while hopping from enemy to enemy in maybe a more "smooth" manner would be insane!
R34LM Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Bladestorm just takes too much time; plus, it is still buggy in some cases. Ash is slowly becoming less of a ninja frame and becoming more of a slAsh frame, since his abilities force slash procs and generally are about sharp and unforgiving agression.
