Azawarau Posted May 17, 2014 Share Posted May 17, 2014 Seeing all of the talk about a nerf i figured id throw out an idea that might make people happy The way i see nova currently is as a nuke caster I wanted to expand on this idea in a way that will make everyone happy(even though it wont) First off change Null star to blast dmg (if it isnt already) and give it a 70-100% knockdown rate when maxed Leave 2 and 3 as they currently are (unless youd rather have them changed) For Molecular Prime: Remove both the 2x damage and slow debuff Decrease damage dramatically Increase range Have MP drain all of the users energy on use MP damage is also increased based on energy used (1 energy = .01% dmg increase, 450 energy = 450% dmg increase) Damage is affected by power STR Energy efficiency mods greatly increase efficiency of this (Near 900% increase? DE should remove the damage from her ulti and simply make it a debuff. 200% more damage taken 50% slower at the cost of giving the ability duration instead of it lasting for ONE MINUTE. 7/10/15 seconds tops, affected by duration mods. And to give her some damage, they should make Anti Matter Drop affected by range mods. Bam, Nova nerfed without making her completely useless. Actually, you can even give MP a short stun, as the enemies need to get "used" to being much heavier due to the priming. Which would open them up long enough to set up AMD. You see, AMD that uses range mods...well. Let's just say it would be larger than Nova's MP range. Introduction some strategy too, no more being bored with MP spam! I went as far as building an AMD modded nova Not my style but i can se the potential in it But she wont have the kind of Large area AoE nuking power she has now Itd be more focused I've been advocating almost this exact change on the main thread. Sound logic. Regardless of you're ability to use AMD, that is her nuke, MPrime serves as a debuff. Removing the slow & damage multiplier would give her two nukes, one of which would be substantially less useful then the other. Maximized Power Range has no positive effect on this ability.Reduces the base damage to 40, and contact damage to 4. Maximized Power Strength increases base damage to 229, and contact damage to 22.Increases cost to 77.5 energy. Do you?
