here's to hoping this happens more often, as the game world feels pretty lifeless due to lack of invasions and alerts 99% of the time. really should double the rate at which invasions occur, and triple the rate of alerts.

It might just be my pessimism, but slow invasions seem like a sign that nobody's playing them, to me.

That's exactly what it is.

Also last time the invasion rate was higher and multiple invasions were allowed the power shifted radically between the Grineer and the Corpus which was kinda bad for everyone as there were like 1-10 (take the numbers with a  grain of salt.) nodes for Corpus at one point.

extremely easy and obvious fix: make new invasions have favor towards the 'losing' faction. bam, now the only way the factions get imbalanced like that is if the players themselves make it so.

I think they did something like that in home systems in the recent patch notes where the losing faction would offer much better BP if they were losing like on Ceres.

I think there's also a system in place where invasions that are not played tick down automatically for either side.

I'm not too sure about that last one though.

The problem with Grineer dominating the star chart was due to the Harvester and people farming him and the consequent Corpus steam roll was due to the G3 and G3 still has the better rewards giving the Corpus a slight advantage no matter what.

i rather enjoyed that my self and others would pull for the grineer so as to wipe out the corpus ,

plus we figured DE would have to start putting in really good loot to keep the corpus alive ; which they did .

Then they just reset the sides back to base states  on one of there Wednesdays ; disappointing really -  was hoping for a setting things right event planet faction wise   .
