Defense Missions

So I was playing a defense mission after i just finished a survival mission and i thought to myself why can't defense mission give a reward every 5 waves like survival does every 5 mins???? I'm tired of seeing a piece I need but my team already has it... So make everybody happy and make this happen DE. Thanks for listening.
