Worried, I Am Very Worried At This Point..

DE recently acknowledged an incoming adjustment to the very controversial warframe Nova. Personally i see no problem with her in high level content when MP(molecular prime) becomes more of a debuff than a damage dealer. My fear here is that they'll completely destroy her viability at well anything. Vauban after the initial Bastille nerf was hit hard, and the increased energy cost by virtue of needing multiple casts messed things up. And that was for something you could manage. Same was done to frost the the recent snowglobe "adjustment". No more high level defense w/o instant death to cryopod once something gets close. Those were both defensive abilities. What could they do to an offensive one? As one who uses a lvl 30 Nova on occasion i can say that while not exactly balanced, nothing too drastic needs to happen. While i'll have to wait to see how much of a difference is made, i can't imagine i'm the only one worried.

Put 2 and 2 together here for me.

 

There are two kinds of whine threads on the forums. Grind whines, and nerf whines. Players do not gimp themselves. As long as we have OP skills, OP guns, and OP mods running around mid level missions spamming MPrime with a Nekros in tow giving himself carpel tunnel, it will be a grind game. As long as we can sit around the Vortex roasting marshmallows, sit inside the snowglobe trying to stay awake, or run around invincible 50min into a survival, this game will always be percieved as a GRIND GAME because that's all anyone will do, is play the most boring OP strategy there is.

 

Rare items are not the problem.

Rare items and loot are part of every good game.

The problem is that the best way of finding them is BORING.

 

People play the best thing for the scenario, even if it's boring or easy or repetitive.

Then they come whine that game play is bad, and say DE made a GRIND GAME.

That means we need nerfs, so people have to play legit.

 

MPrime instagibbing the whole map needs to go. The proposed change is better than anything I've seen anyone else come up with, and if you are being sincere in talking about high level use, then you should be happy because it got buffed there. Power strength can make the slow better now, and the duration is still fine. Sixty seconds was always overkill. Thirty is still way more than enough.

Things in this game also need buffs as well yes.

But I think the ability to insta gib and get godmode has a bit higher of a priority.

I imagine soon DE might actually get to focus on other things.

Sorry, that wasn't meant to be AT you, it was more of a reply to the players you referred to in your post. I probably should have said that in that post.
