(PSN)Husky_Pride Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 The dark sectors and solar rails have been out on PS4 for a while. Here I'm just going to list some problems I have seen and suggestions. 1. Alliance vault/battle pay management during solar rail conflict Most of us have noticed that when you adjust the battle pay when the reserved amount drained (I'm not an alliance leader so I'm not sure how this works out, if I'm wrong please correct me), the battle pay on your rail will be 0 for a very short time. For instance as you started the mission, the battle pay was 10000. Since there are many others playing, the reserved amount of battle pay drained before you completed your mission and you will likely get nothing. Also during one of the conflicts and from what I read on the region chat, one of the two conflicting alliance ran out their funds, their solution was to make "emergency deposits" to keep their battle pay going and surpass the opposing alliance's battle pay. So they raised the battle pay to 40000. Despite their vault drained almost instantly, many players chose to fight for them because of the high battle pay and cause damage to the opposing solar rail, but we all know most of them won't get anything. My suggestion to this is to make changes to the battle pay / vault system that even the "reserved amount" drained, everyone who started the mission with the set amount of battle pay will get their credits, this will be charged directly from that alliance's vault. And prohibit alliance members from contributing if one or more of their rails are in conflict. This will prevent broke alliances from setting up high battle pay and "lure" player to fight for them. 2. Infinite grinding Prevent alliance members from huge amount of grinding in order to cause damage to the opposing rail. Each member can only fight for a limited amount on each rail. The limit can be raised by ranking up your mastery. For instance mastery rank 0-5: 10 times on each rail, mastery rank 6-10: 20 times and so on. However this may not be a good idea at all. This will be a huge advantage for the alliance with more members than the opposing alliance during a conflict. I just hope something can be done to prevent players from infinite grinding, to be honest this is absolutely mindless and unhealthy. 3. Verbal abuse in region chat So far the kickbox is doing nothing on the trash talk and verbal abuse in region chat. Please improve kickbox's filter so that it can detect words other than "wtb" and "wts". I must apologize that my points aren't well organized, maybe because I'm very very disappointed at the solar rail conflict and don't know what to say. Perhaps the best way is to get rid of the solar rail completely but I know it is very unlikely at this point. I begin to feel Warframe is becoming much more than a video game and is a very serious business (probably because I'm used to single player and competitive games), but when I look into it I can only see pure boredom.

Feedback posts like these help them fix it for the next phases rather then -cough cough- other things. Most of the ideas were pretty good fixes IMO #2 might cause slower conflicts. Arlayn Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 lol even with the update were on now the Dark Sector's still favor the greater numbers with the whole Mobile defense deal. That was a REALLY bad idea. Should've gone back to who can do it the fastest.

If they put tactics in this game the outcry from all the Tweens would be deafening...they are already crying about a "nerf" that isn't even here yet. The only way to fix chat is if you are kicked twice the third time is permanent, it's the only way the morons will learn.
