Can we get a heads up on these when you release a single version of a sidearm?

I'm pretty sure a lot of people are sick of putting a lot of time and effort into making a weapon good, only to have a dual version come out which would be obviously better given the same amount of effort.

Or just do what was done with the Akbronco Prime and give them the same stats but with downsides and upside that correlate with akimbo vs single.

My suggestions and reasonings are these:

Akimbo variant

All of these percentages would be based off the base stats of the single variant.

x2 clip. 2 weapons, 2 capacity. Pretty obvious.

+50% the fire rate. Again, 2 weapons, there is going to be less time pulling the trigger in between the recoil of each weapon.

-50% the accuracy. You're not ADS and you're firing at a faster rate, less time to line up shots and less stability since you aren't using both hands for one weapon.

+25% Status chance. It's harder to justify this because there is no true reason 2 weapons equals more proc chance than one weapon. But my thinking goes along the lines of more bullets equals more status.

-25% Crit chance. Less accuracy equals less chance to hit a vital area, unlike status where just hitting anywhere has chance to proc.

And that's my take on what the difference between akimbo and single variants.

That way people have a more clear cut choice on which version they would like more.

Not just having akimbo versions being blatantly better and having higher base damage that just makes the single variant null and void.

This way people could choose whether or not they want to start working on the single version when it comes out, or if they prefer the playstyle of the akimbo version they can wait for that.

What bothers me the most is the loss of Polarity slots in some dual or Akimbo variants. For instance the Vasto contra to the AkVasto. The Vasto as a V polarity slot while the AkVasto has none.

Ya they definitely should keep the polarity slots the original has.

Most every akimbo weapon already has less accuracy than the single version.

I know, and I know they all have double the capacity already.

I was just going it over for the sake of covering everything.

Take into account my Vasto. I loved it so much that I potato'd it only for the AkVasto to get released in a later update. Same goes for my Bronco Prime.

Dual wielding guns and firing simultaneously should sacrifice Accuracy for effectively "doubling" a clip and ammo capacity. (IE twice as much potential ammo as well as clip size)

That and crafting a potato'd single fire gun should carry that potato over to the dual variant if you used it in the recipe.
