intend to kill....... duh.... lol

Un-stanced??

I have both but i prefer orthos, obviously with shimmering blight on it, i did 50 minutes in mimas surv melee only with it, it will depend on what you put on it and also your warframe matters, can't go into a melee survival with a weak frame, it's suicide lol specially when the enemies can shoot at you and you can't shoot em back

Orthos is better all-around, but Reaper has a very good ground slam attack.

If you're only going to quick melee, Orthos, unquestionably.

Orthos Prime is much better all-around, especially without a stance or for quick melee.

The Reaper Prime is pretty good with stances, and it's uncommon stance is very easy to use well. The OrthosP just flat out does more damage and has more reach, however. It's stance is more difficult to use well, but it's also more effective.

I had fun with both leveling them up, but if I had to choose one for serious use, it'd be the Orthos Prime, regardless of stance.
