Realizing You Were 1/2 Asleep When You Posted That

I've noticed, sometimes, reading back over my posts, that "OMG I DID NOT CONJUGATE THAT VERB CORRECTLY!" or "I MISSED AN INDEFINITE ARTICLE!"

It's nothing soul-crushing, but occasionally it looks awkward.

Very strange, and as it's something I'm checking back on, it's usually many hours/days later, so it seems irrelevant to correct the grammar and punctuation, particularly since nobody else ever seems to care.

I don't know how often that happens to others. Reading what some people will pass off as "logic" makes me wonder how much better I handle it than they do.

I imagine, as a whole, it has some overall affect on the community, but I imagine it's hard to gauge how much. I also suppose few people ever admit the mistake, even if it constituted them posting "the dumbest idea in the history of dumb ideas", or something close there of.

I try not to.

Then sleep deprivation makes me post again with ridiculous babble that ruins the context of the next twenty posts I make.

So far, I have about 32 posts left before I am in the sensible posting once more.

I wonder if the devs ever get over- tired.

"Hey guys... did you know I installed a plant tileset last night?"

"A what?"

"You know, the plant tileset."

"We don't have a... huh. Yeah, we do. Where did you get that from?"

"I donno man. I DONNO!"

"Um... let's market it as something we did on purpose. Hotfix to take it off that mission, and we'll re-release next month."

...

That would also explain the original version of interception.

When I started posting on the forums. I was sleep deprived. Most of my posts looked like this.  Sometimes much worse.  Thank heavens community members put me to rights.
