What Is The Worst Frame?

Each frame works differently for each player, so there is no ''bad'' frame.

It all depends on the player's style and each is different.

 

EDIT: Just to make things clear. People will, at their very best (So much that their pants go boom), will try and convince you otherwise. Dont listen to people who say what frame is bad or good or best or worst. Dont let them discourage you into trying something new or different, nor trying to change your playstyle.

There really aren't any bad ones, per se.

Most of the frames that can be attributed as being bad are due to a higher than normal skill cap for optimal play.

 

I'd say your slowest bunny is probably Frost due to lacking in relevant or reliable ranged CC even though he's billed as a, "Ranged CC Caster Tank" or Oberon due to his "jack of all trades" setup only being optimal at close to low mid range.

 

Since the buffs, everyone else does the job they are described as doing.

Loki is undoubtedly one of the best frames. Here is a rough tier list for you, I also take into account the new changes.

 

God Tier:

Vauban - CC

Nova - CC, Damage

Nekros - Farm

Loki - Turns everything into ODS, Solo

 

High Tier:

Rhino - Solo, CC, Boss runs, Tank

Nyx - CC (10 points for whoever gets the reference here)

Volt - Utility

Valkyr - Damage, Tank

Trinity - Support

 

Meh Tier:

Ash

Banshee

Zephyr

Saryn

Ember

Mag

Frost

Excalibur

 

Useless:

Oberon

Hydroid

 

Edit: It bears noting that this list is based on usefulness and applicability in late game scenarios, it does not reflect relative enjoyment, which is a subjective factor. For what it's worth my favorite frame is Zephyr.

Loki? I can understand that one.

Loki is pretty squishy without the proper mods, and becomes pretty useless at the beginning.

Even as a starter-frame, it is misplaced imo.

 

Worst frame: Oberon. Not a great use with his skills. Kinda "mid range killer" skills. Not very useful.

I'd have to say my least favorite warframes are Trinity and Valkyr. I don't care much for Nekros either but at least he runs quickly. The Jury is still out for Hydroid but I think he is fairly low on my list too. I know lots of people love Nyx but I don't like her much.

 

My favorite is probably Zephyr. High mobility FTW.

It's Oberon. He's just not particularly good at anything, or rather, he doesn't have anything that anyone else doesn't already do better. And as for Kuhrasu's Tier list, don't listen to him. Not that he's a bad player, but Excalibur, Frost, and Saryn don't belong in "Meh" tier, and Nekros shouldn't be in God Tier just because of farming. But back to the worst frames, even Hydroid has something he's useful for. The puddle is both funny and good for Crowd Control (Not Great, but good), and Hentacle Swarm is decent, too. Oberon just doesn't really have anything running for him, to be honest. The thing Oberon is really best for is finding out how you like to play right after you finish maxing your starter frame. He can do it all, for the most part, so if you don't know what you like or how you want to play quite yet, Oberon is a good First-Built frame.

 

 

EDIT: Volt is also kind of pointless, to me. Yeah, the shield is nice, but I never really got too much use out of it. And to elaborate on Nekros not being in God tier just because of farming, I meant that he should still be God tier, but because of Terrify. If you enjoy Napalms not having any armor, Terrify is the skill for you.

I really can't say which frames I think are the worst, because maybe I'm using the warframe wrong. My Worst warframe goes to Oberon since he has potential, but needs to be buffed.

Developed through gameplay with each and every frame in endgame scenarios with various builds by numerous people from one of the oldest clans in the game. The source is the game itself, unless you are saying that you know better than the community of the most veteran and critical players, winners of nearly every event (#1) and known for playing the game in the most optimal way, please share your knowledge.

 

Also I edited the list post to include a disclaimer that it's based solely on usefulness in the late game, and does not reflect relative "fun" which is a subjective factor.

I personally believe that while there are certain Warframes that can be optimized for certain scenarios the worst Warframe is the one that you find the least enjoyable. The game itself is about preference of playstyle and having someone tell you their opinion does not necessarily make that statement 100% fact. Listing off Warframes in a tiered list is still opinion. If you can make a Warframe work where most others have failed then there is all the more reason and challenge to use that frame.
