Azawarau
You forgot the most important/fun aspect of WF: THE PARKOUR I pride myself knowing I can parkour like a maniac and get from a to b very easily and effectively. If PvP taught me one thing Its how to epically parkour Across a map

Kuestenjung
And I thought you were asking how the "skill" in the game statistic is achieved, would like to know that.

Azawarau
its all about pve for me, never played pvp and never will. Check out the conclave at least once Parkour is actually really important there for mobility and evasion It helps so much with my hide and seek tactics Also running away from really fast melee people... Ishki88
1. Knowing how to optimize your Warframe's build for said game node. 2. Being a team player (when applicable.) 3. Knowing how to color your Warframe . *Snaps fingers* 4. Knowing how to fluidly craft your arsenal. 5. Knowing how to optimize your sentinel for said gameplay. 6. Having Booben. Lounghai
Skill is taking all unranked gear (frame, weapons, mods) and still kicking butt with those that have full ranked gear.

Deidaku
Parkour isn't polished enough imo so i'm not counting it as a skill factor. it's too clunky and autorolls screw everything up. Ability synch on the other hand can be a skill factor. In defense a well synched Nyx , And frost can defend the objective on their own with ease almost better than a 4 man team of any other frame ( except Vauban)
ThePredicament
Skill is being able to kill stuff with practical style. You know the guy that can run on a wall, line up more than five enemies, shoot a face, kill them all, wall slash into another enemy, shoot a shock while reloading, and kill another ten guys with one bullet; all without getting shot at all? That's a person with skill. Skill is also being able to math weapons into their fiercest form, even while those weapons are being built in the foundry. Arxiun
I think skill is too abstract of a concept whenever you talk about games, and you're voicing that notion with this topic. For me, I find skill in those that ONLY work for the objective. I don't care about a 141k crit you got off a wall attack, I care that you body-guarded the rescue target (seriously, during specters, EVERY player but me and 2 buds I found just hauled for extract, not even killing along the way). Skill, imho, is measured in how well you complete the objective, not how much overkill you can achieve.
Arlayn
Skill in my opinion is the ability to take a normally impossible situation, and turn it around. Where your arsenal, gear, and abilities will not save you, but your wits, cunning, and intelligence could. Its like in some mecha games where they say you have a 1% chance to win, but if your smart or skilled even if you can't afford the best equipment you still can manage to outwit your enemies, and win. Yes even PVP in Warframe can reveal this. I have PVPed players and found myself in a position I CANT WIN. I have to really look at this. The player could have control of the ground, and staying grounded will get you murdered. They have a fast melee kill, they have a deadly gun, but if you take the time to think about how to outmaneuver them by using the environment, and not just your arsenal you can find ways to win. YES the environment is a weapon too, but a lot of players just assume they are screwed, and there is no hope. There can be hope if your patient, and use EVERYTHING at your disposal, and not just what you bring with you. There is just a flare to a player who understands the game versus a player who understands stats. Its like Street smart vs. Book smart. Sure you might know all the stats, and the best way to use mods, but do you REALLY understand the game? Which becomes really the main point a lot of people who play the game, and are all number smart miss. Your stats are important, and are very big I will admit, but its how you use them that makes you "skilled". Its like the saying "With great power, comes great responsibility". An all true saying. That can be used in more way than one. Sure you have the power, but are you ready for it? Are you only relying on the stats? Or can you take it to a whole new level, and use EVERYTHING, and think, and be patient, and learn? Take an impossible situation, and evolve to a level that makes you a "True Tenno".
