(For those unaware Erebus is the Greek deity of Darkness and one of the earliest beings in existence according to Greek mythology)

Name:

Erebus

Story:

The Erebus frame is an experimental frame created within the deepest darkest depths of the void using highly advanced prototype orokin technology and rare materials giving it curious seemingly mystical powers.

Appearance:

Erebus is a thin male tenno (similar to nekros in that respect), his armor is made from sleek black metal plating and takes on an almost demonic look with horns on its helmet, and glowing red markings all over his armor (If possible perhaps he could occasionally emit black wisps of gas and small sparks of electricity could emit from his armor and the air around his armor could blur and distort)

Powers:

Shroud (25 power): Erebus becomes invisible to the naked eye (Invisibility time depends on power strength lowest being 30 seconds)

Living Shadow (50 power): Erebus summons a pitch black gaseous clone (perhaps more than one could be summoned) who can fight for him and matches his stats and weaponry (but can't use his powers) and can use its own powers like teleportation and invisibility.

Phantom (75 power): Erebus phases out of reality making him invincible and capable of walking through thin walls, enemies and cover and allowing him to cause high radiation damage (due to the trans dimensional energy that Erebus emits) by walking through enemies but prevents him from attacking directly. (lasts 30-45 seconds at min power but gets longer when upgraded)

Consuming Darkness (120 energy): Erebus creates a miniature singularity (black hole) that sucks all enemies into it doing massive damage and stunning them for a fairly long period of time, destroys nearby terrain and security systems, makes nearby frames vision blur and against bosses who have weak spots rather than be hurt anywhere it briefly stuns them, does minor damage instantly and leaves their weak spot open.

Stats:

Erebus is average in terms of armor, health and speed but has higher than average shields and energy

Crafting:

To create Erebus one needs multiple argon crystals (due to its origin), orokin cells and other, as well as a forma due to its advanced and unique design.

DISREGARD THIS POST I HAVE A NEW UPDATED VERSION TITLED EREBUS 2.0

So when I look at a Warframe concept I don't much care for the appearance [lest it be a picture] or the story since they're mostly handled by the art team at DE, instead I look to the abilities and stats, so What do I see:

I see a Frame that basically avoids conflict, and while it's usually not a bad thing - this is NOT the way to do it.

Ability 1: Shroud - Really it's just Loki's Invis without the melee buff, Next.

Ability 2: living shadow - Concept is very meh, while it's good on paper it basically works like a spectre that I can use with any frame so that's a no.

Ability 3: Phantom - I like the idea of it, However what is defined as a "Thin wall"? This is completely nit picking I admit but most of the time in Warframe the walls are pretty thick, also Damage numbers please.

Ability 4: Consuming Darkness - It's very optimistic, shall we say, however there'd really be no benefit to using this ability, it seems more of a "I shall engulf you all while obscuring my team, HAHA" than what you make it, also the work needed to create this on ALL tilesets would be gigantic so for this ability I would change it to something more beneficial to the team.

States: Since Erebus seems like he would want to avoid conflict, why does he have stats that counter this statement? Rhino is a very in the enemies face of a warframe hence why he has bigger shields, to compliment this, however he also is slower to compensate for those Shields. Whereas Loki, the trickster warframe, is all about manipulation, you want to confuse your enemy to kill them, that's why he has great speed and lower than average Health and shield, What I'm basically saying is that for what he offers in terms of abilities, his stats don't match [if my view here is horrifically wrong, it'd be nice of someone else to let me know].

Crafting: So does his Component BP's drop from a Boss? do you research it in the clan? Do we build him by some way you thought of? and where would we get the main BP? Also your reasoning for why it needs a forma doesn't make that much sense, especially since no other Frame has needed a forma to be built, ever. So unless you give a new method, and make it sound reasonable, then I'd just drop the needing of the forma.

Yeah I didn't really think this idea through very much, I think I will come up with a new idea for Erebus (Change stats for more of a stealth or ranged idea in mind, edit and make a more in depth crafting, come up with a new idea to replace living shadow and rework Consuming Shadow) thanks for the feed back though

I have a few ideas for Erebus. How about you merge Shroud and Phantom basically creating a purely offensive version of Loki's invisibility with a Coolant Leak type range on the radiation effect perhaps. In the now empty ability slot I think that a summoning ability creating shadow turrets on the walls, floors, and ceilings to attack enemies with dark energy would be a useful fit. As for the ultimate attack, I would say perhaps a radiating darkness that obscures all enemies vision creating an easy way for allies to stealth kill them all or in some cases an opportunity for a quick escape to heal. As for Living Shadow I think that the invisibility creates enough parallels with Loki already so perhaps a direct damage attack here like a toggled beam of darkness that inflicts some pretty decent damage. This would make Erebus a nice yet highly offensive and even a little defensive stealth frame
