What If Warframe 2

This is a what if. So dont go all trigger happy with those keyboards.

Basically if there was ever going to be a warframe 2, what kind of game would you want it to be, what would want to see in it?I would love it if was a little more open world like where you could explore places with your ship and warframe.

i dont think there will be a warframe 2. Especially since uhm were still not on full release. By then the devs would have another development instead of a sequel with more micro transactions.

 

My speculations would be the toggle of 3rd person to 1st person and vice versa.

Honestly I can't really think of anything, purely because the game is still so new and active, and isn't even out of beta.

 

Let's wait and see what the finished Warframe is like first :)

Before talking about a sequel, Warframe needs to be out of the current Alpha, starts its Beta, and makes it to full release.

Warframe 2 will be some sort of spin-off single player only game, the full working title as follows:

 

Warframe 2;  The life and times of Rhino - A chronicle of brickiness, AKA a boulder amongst a field of dandelions.

Stomp a mudhole saga edition.

 

However, upon booting up the game, as you hit the button for New Game at the start menu, a Loki switch teleports you into a fall loop where you'll stay endlessly.  Forever taunted by Loki's loudly silent laughter.

If it takes more than a year for warframe to get out of beta, then expect warframe 2 to take much longer.

Devs pretty much said no Warframe 2 because the game is just going to evolve continuously and everything added in 2014 is basically "Warframe 2."

I would imagine a game where you play the orokin war, maybe a solo game which would reveal all the lore behind Warframe.

I think with games like this the idea of sequel is kinda moot.  You can continuously add content and change things up, but seriously we haven't even gotten to full basic implimentation of some pretty core stuff (Lore, Maps, etc.) so why jump the gun.

If we ever get something the likes of "Warframe 2", it will be in the form of a paid expansion, a la World of Warcraft, or more like Spiral Knights. We buy it, and we gain access to new maps, enemies, loot, and weapons/cosmetics, in my opinion.

 

 

And no, I'm not deliberately giving DE funny ideas.

Warframe 2 would, in my opinion, be during the war against the Sentients in a single-player (maybe Co-op, 1-2 players?) campaign, possibly with darkSector-esque multiplayer.

i hope Warframe doesn't come out of Beta...That way i don't have to download yet another game that is same thing but with a "2" next to the name
