Leech Eximus Kills Warframe Energy

I was playing with a friend. We got attacked by 2 Leech Eximus at the same time just after I had used all my powers. I hit 0 energy from the leech, and now I cannot gain energy, even after we killed them.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? Its annoying. I know it only lasts until the end of the mission, but I was on a defense, and it REALLY sucks to have to go another 5 waves of harder enemies with no powers.

This brings up an interesting idea.....what if....after you kill the Leech, when it dies it releases a portion of that energy that you can reabsorb!

i believe that a leech eximus can drain your energy into the negatives at the moment, so you have to gain a far amount of energy to get above zero again
