Cant Log In 'please Check Your Info'

I just downloaded and signed up today. When I launch the game, I see the Warframe login screen. I put in my credentials and ... nothing happens. The "Play" button is grayed out, and the window saying "Please log into your Warframe account" is still up. If I try to close it, it says "Aporty update process and quit?" but there is no feedback telling me what is going on. Is it updating, downloading ... what? It just sits there with my log-in credentials doing nothing. Any advice on what do to? Just sit and wait, uninstall and reinstall (I've done this twice already).
