played with my Nova a bit after a long time

tryed out some different builds and I have to say a job well done DE

 

Nova is again fun to play, more challenging than before

and the utility is awesome both ways

 

one small thing though:

The energy colours are not working properly on clients(same bug most other skills used to have)

 

thanks for the change :)

 

p.s.

I would very much like to see this to be an example of how future skills are going to work and I'm referring to the slow/speed up of enemies which in both ways can be very helpfull

My biggest thing is: It currently uses blessing's anim, but applies it to enemies. I'm not sure *why* the blessing anim was swapped out for the old one, but those little circles are mildly freaky.

I agree I love the new M-Prime! :D

 

Also I think I noticed the client side color issue earlier :o their energy color was green but primed enemies were blue...

 

 

 

 

SO DE, how about fixing her wormhole to not send me into guardrails and slight hills when I'm aiming way over them?

I must say when there are 3 Novas in a mission it's terrible.  Novas visual affects are very annoying.  Slow motion affects has made Nova boring.  She needs fixing.  More thought and work has to go into her MPrime. I will hang her up until she is fixed.  If she remains as is I will get rid of her.

Yes but why do you feel the visual 'affects' are annoying?

  - What visual 'affects' are you referring to? the bubble? the animation? the "primed" effect on the enemies?

Why do you feel the "slow motion" 'affects' make Nova boring?

  - again what are you referring to? the way she slows the enemies? the way the aura creeps out slowly?

    When giving negative feedback you need to be very specific or the devs will never be able to help you. It would be like if you made someone coffee and they said "I don't like it, do better next time" and left it at that. It would of been helpful if they mentioned that they would of liked more sugar or less cream wouldn't it?

Yes, you are correct KittyDarking. The visual affects I am referring to are the lines when MPrime is cast. Very annoying.  Three Novas in a mission and you have a discotheca of lighting going on. The bubble on the enemies very much annoying and look ridiculous.  Nova is a fast frame.  The slow down of eneimies is too slow. I am looking for fast game play not slow game play.  I could understand bringing down MPrime because she use to nuke everything.  Why not just cut it in half keeping the same visual affects?  At times I would not cast MPrime so other players could get some kills.   Nova is a fragile warframe and the power of it is needed.  She still has power but this slow down of the eneimies like I said above is too slow. I prefer the instant killing instead of the gradual affects which grows out now which makes it boring.  Nova has to wait for the bubble to appear.  Such a wonderful warframe whom was hated very much by many because of her powers is now just another warframe.  I think more thought should  be put into her MPrime including this new visual affect. They should also look deeper into this slow down of eneimes. Does not do any justice for her because she is a fast and fragile warframe.  I hope I made some sense here because I am very tired and my eyes want to close. Goodnight everyone.

I think you mean effect and not affect ^^

 

as for enemies slowing down and the globe being too slow, please start doing some more experimenting before giving feedback on the changes

 

the new globe is actually very usefull since you can actually let enemies walk into it making the priming effect last a lot longer so you dont have to use it every 3 seconds

 

if you want to have fun, you can actually speed up the enemies instead of slowing them down

 

I have a feeling you are just trying out one build and not any others

M. Prime is still one of the most powerful abilities in the game since it slows down enemy attack speed to the point where they will barely fire back and gives the awesome 200% damage boost from all sources which increases not only your DPS but your team's as well. the explosions are honestly the least cared about portion of the ability and just icing, mod out for as much duration as you can get and this bad boy will have stupid huge expansion range protecting your team and increasing killing speed at the same time.

 

MP is a massive debuff with a side of damage, anti matter drop is really her nuke now since it has no limit on how much damage it can do and has a good 15 meter radius, having waaaay more success and fun with the new MP. 

 

now I doubt it would and I don't have one on hand to test it but i'm curious if natural talent actually speeds up the expansion of the field like how it speeds up oberon's little renewal orbs.

I really like the new MPrime.

 

You generally have to choose what you want. Do you want the slowing utility? Do you want it for damage? Do you want it cheap?

 

You can really dial it in now, rather than just having several cakes and eating them all at no cost as it was before.
