considering how many Nova players are angry with the changes on the skill,  how it now can let them willingly kill any team they are part of, and since it has been several days without a fix for what appears to be a horrible bug in a skill they were supposedly working on,  i can't avoid wondering if the change was intentional to let them vent of us by screwing our games for pointing out it was OP, do they really intent on leaving it as is?

A dev has stated that the speed buff from a reduced power strength Molecular Prime is here to stay for the time being.

There’s been a lot of talk about the new Molecular Prime and its unintentional bonus of making enemies hyper-fast when using Overextended, mostly on how much of a game changer it is on maps running Defense or Survival missions.  Everyone seems to think there’s just something fun about Infested shambling at you at breakneck speed, both in the added difficulty that faster higher levelled enemies offers and the convenience that clearing a wave quicker brings to the community.  Everyone also seems to think this is a change that shouldn’t go away.

The good news is, we agree.

M Prime was never meant to show off the olympic potential of Tenno enemies, but now that it has it seems a shame to make any further adjustments so long as the incidental feature doesn’t cause balance issues in the future.

As always we’ll let you know if there will be any future changes to any frame, and rest assured that we’ll be monitoring M Prime closely to ensure that we can correct any potential imbalances should they arise.

Happy Hunting, Tenno!

Another unintended bug DE will let stew either through laziness, curiosity, or reluctance to fixing a mistake and risk a backlash.

I have yet to see this in action but from the sounds of it it's so game altering to be both a blessing (hurry up and get to the next round) and a curse (get blowed up before you have a chance to react).  I'm not really a fan of something that accelerates the game to absurd degrees.  If playing the game is so tedious why are you playing it?  Room clearing M. Prime sped up the game too and that was fun for exactly one person.

Gotta say I'm disappointed in DE's reaction here.

I agree, but I sympathize to a very small degree.

They had to know they were treading on thin ice, toying with Nova, the patron saint frame to the surprisingly large demographic of people who must actually hate playing the game.

So when a ray of hope shined through the broody 'nerf' clouds hovering over their heads... something to finally make them stop crying...

I can see why they'd let it stay. Even if I disagree.

People don't really troll with any of the abusable abilities much.  They're too busy farming or doing something more useful with their time.  This also has its advantages, such as making my Orokin Cell farming 20% faster by speeding up Ruk.  Until we have an outbreak of Novas killing their teams there is no reason to even bring this up as an issue.
