If you remove the lower barrel and fit the Ang in there it would probably look alright.

 

I guess what we should take away from this is that some players are craving something new with the gun play, or that some players just want a portable Penta everywhere they go rofl

I'm not so sure about the idea of slapping an Angstrum on a Dera (since it still looks like a big brick), but I do like the idea of customizable weapon attachments. Unfortunately, this will probably manifest six months down the line as separate mod cards ala Stances/Auras that only drop from Leech Ospreys, Electric Crawlers, and Flameblades.

Some of us like the corpus geometric designs. You 'technically' can't sacrifice the lower barrel without also halving the Dera's fire rate. It alternates between each emitter. 

 

As for the gun play, when you've been around since closed beta, it's beyond stale.

That's fine, lower the fire rate, it also helps with ammo efficiency. Not like the Dera's fire rate will suffer all that much.

 

I like the Dera's design, combining it with the Angstrum's particularly bland design just makes it ugly.
