Is No One Going To Talk About The Hint At A Weekend Event?

If no one will start a speculation thread on it, I will!

 

Any ideas what it'll be? I know they talked about how Salad V messed with something, somewhere, sometime and that brought about the infested back onto the star chart so is this a prelude to that?

 

The funny thing is, I thought the infested tileset was coming with U14 and I highly doubt that's dropping anytime soon...

 

The worse part of it all... is that I'm gone this weekend :(

 

(If you don't know what hint I'm talking about, I'm talking about the red text in-game during 13.5 patch releas)

They said they were probably gonna do a tileset preview like they did with Tethra and ship yards. And I feel ya man, my graphics card's fan broke so unless this is an easy event I'm screwed and I'm actually gonna be here for it.

Put another fan near your computer where your graphics card is. I did that before -  a nice big box fan. Kept everything cool.

There was a hint about an event coming up very soon. It may have to do with the Corpus and new Infested maps.

An event is well an event, they only appear once ever, you'll never see gravadus, tethra, espionage again [sorry!]/ They have awesome loot like exclusive weapons, some have/will worm their way back into the game (see brakk and detron), and exclusive mods (see aviator and voltaic strike[same deal as weapons tho (nightmare mods i believe)]). Time sensitive and instruction will come with the event.

 

Edit : Additional info : All weapons come with a free slot / pre-installed catalyst, and there is almost always a badge that can only ever be acquired in said event.

This. I know how much Warframe and Digital Extremes loves to make things grind-intensive, but I hope that they do not get carried away.

They did that with the Cicero event on Earth for the new Jungle tileset, too.

I have faith that it won't be though.  The last few events have been less and less grindy.  I hope they keep up with that trend.

Actually, during the last devstream, they hinted at this event:

 

at 1:15:30 mark

 

And I read/heard from somewhere that it would be "different". It may have been on that stream or reading from somewhere else but I could be misquoting so I wouldn't take my word for it.  All I know is, if that event doesn't last long enough for me to come back and do it on Tuesday... Boy am I gonna hurt someone :O
