xlraistlx Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 So I was just checking the changes made to Ash's Blade Storm (loving it so far) on Venera and I got paired with two low ranked tenno, one mastery zero still starter gear and another rank three but that at the end of the match asked me "What is a Nav. Coordinate?" so not very experienced. The thing is, I ment to stay until wave fifteen for a key and I told them at the end of wave 10 that I could carry them till fifteen if they wanted to, they did stay. During the match we got two Oberon systems and one chassis so that would have been enough but we got the chance to bail at fifteen (which I was aiming for) for a Split Chamber. I just wanted to share it because I felt awesome to see this happen.
michaelwii Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 This is why I often love playing on lower planets. It's fun helping out low ranked/new players.
(PSN)xENDERgotGAMEx Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Its always nice to help a new player out. Its also nice to see others doing the same. :) +1
izzatuw Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Good for you. Tip: keys are better farmed at Dark Sectors.
RawGritz Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Explaining the nuances of the game always reminds me of how far this little gem has come since closed beta began. It continues to grow in so many cool directions. Explaining how Punch thru mods and multi-shot mods work...actually got a few people to download the game just to check out the unique customization features.
xlraistlx Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 (edited) Tip: keys are better farmed at Dark Sectors. I wasn't farming them, it was a thought of "I'm already here". Edited May 29, 2014 by xlraistlx
-Upgreid- Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Love helping out new Tenno, whether it's the clan or the game. Always good to pass on experience, because you never know- one of the people I took under my wing is now my biggest rival in Dojo matches and gameplay skill.
MachFarcon Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Yeah, as more time goes by, it's nice to help out the younger Tenno. Back in my day I remember wishing that someone more experienced would come and help out, to show me the ropes and such. Now that I am in the experienced section, it's nice to be that kinda person for someone else.
Orbister Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Its awesome when "the universe" agrees and helps, something similar happened to me, a friend started playing not long ago and i took him on his first dragon keys run, and he was getting frustrated because we couldnt find the vault but when we finally did his key was the one needed to open it, and he was quite happy, i was too, because it would have been quite awkward and frustrating to find a different seal, because as we were only 2 we had a 50/50 chance. Anyway, yes its really nice to help newer players.
VegetableBasket Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 There's something weirdly nice about having someone ask you what frame you're using and explaining the game to them in whatever way you can in the few minutes you have together.
(PSN)Goldengeartwo Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Dunno why, but it find Excaliburs with MK1- Bratons adorable. I always love helping out new players on the Earth Interception mission. Before it was moved nodes, you had to complete it to go any further into the planets, and since interception is quite challenging, new players really struggled. Felt good coming in their like some kind of Tenno badass, they get to see what they will look like after a few months lol.
