With the advent of stances for melee weapons, and the already existing auras, guns are feeling a little bit forever alone. This has probably been suggested before, but what if there were attachments that you could toss on your gun? Course, it would work slightly different. What I have in mind are blueprints that you can buy from the market for, say 50,00, to 150,000 credits, and you build them to create the attachments. Guns would have not one but four new slots on the upgrade screen, called "Barrel", "Rail" and "Stock". Equipping an attachment would increase the mod points on any given gun by three, since you can have three at a time, and would add additional effects. Attachments wouldn't have polarities, because they shouldn't be restricted to any particular polarity, or force you to waste a forma. Pretty simple. Some examples are:

Suppressor

Barrel

Pistol/Rifle

50% Sound Reduction

Reflex Sight

Rail

Pistol/Rifle

Gives a small scope on top, not restricting range of view. You know, one of those red-dot things.

High-Power Scope

Rail

Rifle

Adds a scope to the gun dependent on what faction it is. Orokin and Tenno share a scope. Magnification is the same as the Lanka.

Scope

Rail

Rifle

The same as above, but the magnification is the same as the Vectis instead of the Lanka.

Absorptive Stock

Stock

Rifle

Reduces recoil by 25%

I Just want more mod card spaces, with a reduction to other powerful mods like damage buff ones. Because straight up giving players more room to play will lead to people only adding more damage mods, and not using them for utility.

Or perhaps dedicated utility mod slots added to frames and weps.
I don't think primaries or secondaries need more ways to get a few extra mod points personally.

Each to their own though.

well to your point they could make attachment mod slots 2-3 depending on the weapon where we can put like ammo drum, silencers  all that kinda stuff.

I like this idea.  Especially if it provided a visual alteration to the gun as well. I think that this combined with utility slots that DE has talked about would do quite a bit to improve weapons and avoid people just adding more damage mods.
