So, Warframe in PS4 doesn't have a search function at all?

 

It has chat, I hope. You can use commands there.

He is probably talking about how hard it is to scroll down through 1000 names to invite some random to a specific game. Right now there is no way to search for a specific guy in the trading, recruiting or region tabs. The only thing that you can do is to hold down the right analog stick on your controller and scroll through each and every name. Of course if you have an external keyboard connected to your ps4, then its easy to invite people just by putting in commands (just like the pc) but still we need a user friendly way to invite other random people. Friends and clan members are easy to invite though.

and thats probably what OP meant by a search engine. Hope they (DE) implement something for this although i do know for a fact that a lot of people use external keyboards (almost 90% of my friends brought one) for their ps4 and that's probably the reason why i haven't seen lot of complaints about it on forums yet.

Doesn't help when the guy's name is XxLlI-_-Iii420Xx or something like that, hard to know if they are an L or I.

I honestly never bother with people with those kinds of names. Even on PC.

 

Anyone who chooses that name either never wants to be invited to anything or likes being annoying.

yes i do mean that & not really easy now to get psn adds there get harder to get & chears for comment so far i hope they sort something out next update

I agree.  A hovering hand or highlighed box we can select a name with from the chat window would be great.  Finding names from a giant list of people takes forever while scrolling up and down with a thumbstick.
