VegetableBasket Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 (edited) Back in closed beta, before we got the orange resource cake, you could actually tell what resources were what by looking at them, they were differently textured and looked sort of like minecraft blocks from what I remember. It wasn't visually appealing, and I'm glad it was replaced with better looking art, but there was a loss of functionality. Anyways, with all the different resources, clan tech resources, oxiums and argons and so on, could we finally get unique 3d models for each different thing so we can tell at a glance if we're looking at an Orokin cell or nanospores? I don't see any need for the blue resource cake to change since you can always logically deduce what it is, but the orange resource cake can be way too many things at once. It would be nice if they were 3D models like the way credits are handled.. where a bunch drop of the models drop.. because i like to "make it rain" when I open a locker.. Takes further guesswork out of what's dropped and what hasn't, and lets you tag resource drops before picking them up, since you know immediately it's something valuable.
