Quatrez Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 (edited) Similar to Mastery Rank, it tracks how the players play the game. Various weapons and warframe cosmetics can be unlocked by level up the ranking. How to earn points? Everytime you done a mission, there will be a metre that records your playstyle in the mission, either Assault or Stealth. Assault means heavy combat, lik Rambo, phew..phew.. and Stealth means silent combat. If you have more Assault during the mission you will receive Assault point after the mission or vice versa. The Test Here are the titles for the ranking, the current maximum level for the mastery is 5. In order to promote into next rank, player required to pass the mastery test. Assault Warrior - eliminate all the enemies in a limited time. Knight - activate all the switch in a limited time without being killed. Beserker - survive for 3 minutes. Vanguard - reach the extraction site in a limited time without being killed. Sol - assassinate all the bosses to pass the test. Stealth Scout - kill all the enemies silently in a limited time. Assassin - disarm all the alarm in a limited time. Hermit - deliver the package to the extraction site without being noticed. Phantom - collect all the datamass without being noticed. Lunar - stalk the target for a limited time without being noticed. The benefits of Playstyle Mastery Like regular Mastery Rank, Playstyle Mastery is needed to unlock some high tier weapons. Other than that, when the player reachs the Sol/Lunar, they will get a Mastery Badge. Weapon concept coming soon... (gv me some idea, i'm kind run our of idea) Any suggestion is accepted. Bloomers Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I dunno about a mastery rank system (just cause the current one is awful,) but I could definitely agree with this if it got reworked a little bit.
VKhaun Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I like it, but not until we have structure of some kind so people have to use level appropriate gear and they are finished with the broad strokes of frame balances. Right now any PUG basically would force everyone into rambo mode because one Tenno with a Boltor Prime or a #4 PBAoE nuke just destroys everything. Anyone who wanted to be stealthy could just play perma invisible Loki to farm backstabs. etc.
ENIAK_Prime Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I'm not sure I like the idea of Stealth goals having time limits. The very nature of stealth requires you to be patient and take your time, so I hope those time limits are really huge to make up for the fact that proper stealth can take up quite a huge chunk of your time.

Yeah, stealth test will have more time and less enemies. Edited June 2, 2014 by Quatrez
