Or more exactly - Sonic Boom? It`s not true to it`s description (doesn`t really incapacitate or kill attackers, as much as just pushes them around a bit) since I cannot kill level 1 grineer in terminus with a maxed intensify and sonic boom. I remember that i was able to easily kill level 10 guys with 2 Sonic Booms at max, now it`s pretty much just "Push", since the damage is too weak to be noticed by the enemy. Might as well just blow on them.

I think that back then, before Damage 2.0, Sonic Boom was doing physics impact, and therefore "armor ignoring" damage. This might be why it was much more powerful before.

I think the damage can be buffed a bit, but not too much. Maybe just bring it in line with Mag's Pull for instance, and give it slightly more range. Banshee seems to be meant for a CC frame after all, so her 1 shouldn't be too powerful, though a little buff won't hurt at all~

Well when you push about 7 level 20-25 guys about, they`re a bit too much to finish off before they get up, if their health is full. that is if somehow, they all fall down right next to you.

Because right now i use Sonic Boom purely out of habit, since it`s cheaper and way more effective to use Soundquake.

Except Sonic Boom shouldn't be able to kill lvl 20-25 guys at full health anyway, nor should it take out a big portion of their health. Not even Pull can do that for the most part except certain Corpus/Infested units.

Sonic Boom already gives a good knockdown, which can be repeated as soon as they get up again. The kind of instant-gratification from simply using your less costly power for high damage isn't fitting of her, unlike a more damage-oriented Frame like Ember and Volt.

Also, lvl 20-25 is pretty much Tier 2-3, so you wouldn't expect them to die from the first power of a CC frame, especially since it costs pretty much nothing to use. The damage should be strong enough that a lvl 1 Grineer should die with Intensify though, which currently isn't really the case.

With the right mods on your weapons, eventually one Sonic boom should be enough for you to use your weapons to finish off at least 3-4 of those seven.

Banshee will need a huge buff in order for me to play her again. I'm not saying damage-wise, but she is going to have to get a lot better. She's lackluster in comparison to other Warframes. Shame, too, because she was enjoyable, and I liked her design.

After leveling her about six months ago, I never touched her again.

EDIT: If we're comparing Sonic Boom to Mag's Pull, then it should work the same: huge range, but pushes enemies down while doing huge amounts of damage, instead of pulling them and doing huge amounts of damage.

Have you tried her out now that they reworked Sound Quake and Silence? I find that all her skills finally feel useful, Silence is essentially a mobile stun and Sound Quake can be turned on and off at your discretion. She may not be the most exciting frame but she definitely plays a lot better now.

As for OP, I suppose a buff to Sonic Boom's damage wouldn't hurt; personally I use it more for the cheap and effective CC it offers rather than for damage, but to each their own I guess.

Well yeah, i don`t expect her to instagib level 20-25 dudes, but i would like a bit more damage, than a friendly punch on the shoulder. her Ulti has always been satisfying to me, and now that it`s chanellable it`s even better, yet she could still use a rework in some aspects, because she`s too weak to be a reliable close to mid range CC frame.

And if only sonic boom would ragdoll enemies, like Mag`s pull does... if only...

Only if ragdoll is actually stable. If she gets the same ragdoll threatment as Mag, you will have a lot more trouble finishing off your enemies glitching around. That's why I still prefer knockdown; at least that's a stable animation.

But yes, I agree for a little buff.

Sonic Boom knocks a wide swath of enemies on their &#!. This is spammable and honestly completely amazing. She has plenty of utility and staying power now but no one seems to appreciate that.

I'd say keep playing your Banshee. Use all four of her skills and have a good time. She's quite solid now.

Not sure what version of Warframe you're playing, but there is and has always been a CD between knockdowns that Boom can cause.

Reason Pull is so much better. Sure it makes things flail wildly, but there's no CD on its disable.

As for the rest of ya'll...

Boom's a great idea but the ICD basically makes it unreliable (mostly because the ICD is insanely long), Sonar's useless compared to Molec Prime, Silence minmaxes with Duration and Range while the ENTIRE rest of her kit does so with Range and Power (and Sonar doesn't really care about Duration since you'll be recasting it anyways due to its glitches) IN ADDITION to the stun requiring short range (unlike the rest of her kit) so you don't burn the stun on enemies through doors AND the ability itself being basically a nerfed Radial Blind, and Sound Quake costs WAAAAAY more energy than it should in comparison to other, similar abilities.

The "buffs" they gave her were quality of life changes. They made SQ not @$$ to use, and they gave Silence a purpose.

They didn't buff anything.

She's still underpowered.
