S3EK3R
1. Customization, ship interior color, ship design (let me choose between a grineer, corpus, tenno and even orokin looking ship, or hell why not infested if I so desire) and ship lights, I get it that DE likes that light blue color, but not everyone does (same should be applied to the dojo imo, I'm getting sick of those light blue lights) 2.All the other frames in my inventory walking around, doing stuff like 1 of them polishing one of the weapons from my inventory, another playing with the Kubrow, another cleaning up the place as if they're all a big and happy family. 3.If the ship becomes somewhat like the dojo (where we can build rooms) then make sure we have a layout and not infinite space in all directions, make it actually look like the ship artwork in the livestream. 4.Allow others to visit our ship, let me invite someone inside. 5.When the hubs come, DE did say there will be more instances of the same hub depending on how many players there are, so if that's the case, let us dock our ship to the hub and make the outside of it visible, this will extended further outside ship customizations, like colors and lights or even ship armor plating design (but remove the bright colors from the ship, because I don't wanna see red, yellow, blue, purple, green all on one ship as if it's a rainbow) All of this. Would be awesome. You said them before I had the choice.
Noble_Cactus
Okay, more serious post. I have this feeling that I'd be a little freaked out if I saw my frames wandering around the ship. It'd be like seeing a bunch of copies of myself running around. Not to mention that having a bunch of the same frame milling about would also be kind of weird. But this is coming from someone who likes to think each frame is a unique individual. Anyway. What if... you could select your frame in real time? Scenario: 1. Last frame you were playing as was Ash. You spawn in your ship as Ash. 2. You see your Frost doing some kind of meditation across the hall, or your Ember practicing some acrobatics in another room. 3. You go up to the Frost and a prompt © appears to switch the frame. 4. The silently look at one another, and the camera switches to Frost as he stands up and becomes controllable. 5. You are now Frost. You could still switch frames via the arsenal, but if you wanted a seamless transition between frames for aesthetic reasons, you have the option of going up to another frame and switching to it. Karaksonen1
Aside from two things that were named already (Space battles and Community hubs/Clan dojos that you can dock onto, together with maybe some NPC'S) i think the possibility of getting hijacked if you have a bigger ship (if you CAN get bigger ships) would be pretty cool. Also as much customization as you can put into them. Colors, furniture, trophythings and deco. I think the only the Spacebattles could be out of reach, everything else should be doable. Oh and i hope my ship comes with an inbuild Kubrow-poop cleaner. I don't want to see my Warframe run around his ship with a bloody plasticbag. -HAKUNA-YOUR-TATAS-
This is what I'm hoping for with player ships: Edited June 4, 2014 by sushidubya
WinterBornX
Well.. customizations , Alert Display, to be able to invite people to your ship for trades. And MAYBE do a ship only lab with some items. And something like a Mail System inside ur ship where u can read ur mail. Nimbat
Aslong as it provides more than just being an overhauled UI that takes alot longer to access simple things like foundry / market etc, because that's all it is judging from the livestream. Not talking about the quest to acquire the foundry, I'm talking simply clicking on the foundry button we have now vs. walking around between monitors and clicking multiple times to access the same stuff. I'm sorry for sounding pessimistic but sure, spaceship interactive UI will be cool for a few days, then it will just be a frustrating but beatiful timesink. EVE Online did the same thing where you could enter a spacestation and press monitors to access menus, but eventually they made it optional which resulted in nobody using the feature because it was simply a timesink for accessing menus. Exactly the same happening here in Warframe. video:
Tarille
The main thing I'm hoping for with player ships is for them not to be detrimental to my playing. If I recall correctly, buying fuel was mentioned at some point - Depending on how that's done it can seem punishing for travelling to the outer systems and inner systems constantly (For example - Going to Void to farm, coming out and then going to Venus/Earth for an Alert, then going to Derelict for a bit then going to Mercury to quickly get a tiny bit of affinity to level an item etc) Depending on how UI is set up, it can be more annoying to do things like travel to places, get to Foundry etc. It's possible that they put timers on travelling (It happens occasionally in F2P games - Travel time + paid "Rush") If none of that is a concern though, the only other thing I'd like is: Someone to feed my fish while I'm gone

low1991
But I like to collect prisoners on my ship. Feels like I am actually carrying cargo in the game. Ask DE to implement a function to display resources/ Blueprints/ weapons in the tenno ship. Problem Solved.

I know I say that in response to a lot of comments on this forum but that's how it is. Unfortunately. I think it's mostly to do with 1. High player expectations, and 2. Rushed development schedules giving us the wireframe version of whatever we were promised.
