Question

Funny that I'm in this part of the forums, as I've been playing for over a year and am usually the person to shove info down everyone's throats, heh. Anyways, aside from a single Prime part, the last few weapons I need to get are from all 3 death mark bosses. What I'm confused about is how to know when they're after you: when the notification messages first came out, you would first get a sort of warning message, then if you kept doing X thing to piss off whoever, you'd get the final "I'm coming to get you" message. Can anyone tell me if you still get the warning messages, and what both that and the final message say for each boss? Or just paraphrase as best as you can.

Also, as far as the whole farming process goes, here's what I understand you need to do:

1) Perform X action repeatedly until you receive the death mark message (I know how to summon each of them, but like I said above, I'm confused about the messages themselves, as I've been farming bosses for a while now to find Stalker and idk if I do or don't already have a mark from a long time ago)

2) Randomly play through missions; there is a small chance they'll show up in the first 4-5 minutes of any mission (except boss missions, iirc), and more marked players in the match means a higher chance to encounter the boss. From what I've heard, the best thing is to play Survivals to 5 min and leave if you don't find the boss by then.

3) Whether you kill the boss or they kill you, the mark is now gone, and the whole process must be repeated. I'm curious though, does leaving during the fight make the mark disappear or not?

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

This is what I know personally. You simply get a message from said attacker but the time the appear in your mission is still random. If you receive multiple they are likely to attack in succession by missions.

I know I get a message, but as stated above, what I need to know is what kind of message I get. In the past it would give you a warning before you're marked, then a message later to let you know you actually are marked. I've gotten the same message from the Stalker like 12 times in the past few months yet it's been a while since he actually came for me, and I would typically stop farming a boss shortly after receiving that message, so idk if I just have bad luck getting him to spawn, or if I was never even marked at all.

Also, I recall hearing the thing about being marked multiple times, but couldn't find anything recent supporting it. But I've definitely heard from several people that the assassin appears no later than 5 minutes into the match, and occasionally I've heard 4 minutes.

Don't know if this still stands, but the Stalker Death mark can be added to you even without the message. Was mentioned on the wiki, though I forgot if that was current or in an older update.
