Where Do I Farm For Neurodes?

With Vay Hek off the map, my supply of neurodes has started to run dry. I'm down to 5 and I need to build more forma!

 

Where's the best place to farm them? I've tried heading to the Dark Sector Defense on Earth. I thought with the increased resource drop rate, I'd be swimming in them by now but apparently RNG just decided that it wanted me to arm the entire Russian army with Ferrite weapons because that's all it gave me.

I usually get one for every 5 waves on Xini, Eris; though the Dark Sectors on Eris may work as well.

 

I have over a hundred and I don't even farm Neurodes.

Derelict missions also help.

I personally like to partake in ODD. You can simultaneously earn a fair chunk of experience as well as the possibility of leaving with a prime part in hand.

Eris dark sector defense w/vauban to farm. Maybe dark sector survival with Nekros if you have a team, but I suggest leveling new weapons on Cambria. It's a good fun place to level and although Neurodes are rare, you will find some over the course of leveling a few weapons.

 

Probably not helpful right now if you've painted yourself into a corner with no neurodes already, but think about it next time. Like if you want to build something that takes cells, maybe level on Saturn - Minas, or if you want to make something with Neural Sensors then go to Jupiter Elara to level your next impact weapon.

akkad is good, but i still get the majority of my neurodes from xini. -- i got into the habit of running xini way back when it was infested and that's continued in my neverending quest to get a second gleaming talon.

i got 6 neurodes  on earth and eris...from extractors....in 2 months. not much

yeah, i have hundreds.

 

of all the rare resources, neurodes are by far my most abundant. (mainly from xini)

plus there's the fact that you'll find pretty much every single mod that the corpus faction has in that mission. (as pretty much every type of corpus mob will make an appearance at some point or another) as well as a good source of t2 / t3 keys, and some fairly good mods as rewards.

i'd imagine that narcissus would also be quite good for the same reason. (and a better source of t3 keys) but as it's in pluto, it wouldn't help for neurodes. (but definitely would for morphics)
