After The Pyrana, The Brakk Makes Me Sad Once Again

I played the 100 missions on Gradivus, to get the Detron, and instead got the ugly peppergun blueprint. I stopped playing Warframe for two months after that event

Im rank 16 before we get gear for that rank i will be rank 25 or even 35. Thats unless game dies 1st due to alienating new players even more by requiring them to get 100+ weapons to lvl30 just to get new toy...

I'm honestly mildly annoyed that you want some run of the mill shotgun, I don't even know if this has a mastery requirement,

to hold up to the Brakk. Now, I haven't farmed the Brakk from the G3, but I did farm the Detron out of the Harvester, and my

hands really ached after that, and I imagine getting Brakk parts is a similar story.

 

There's no reason to make them equal. I mean you equalize the Brakk, what about that Angstrum and Marelok?

They're much easier to get than the Brakk. They just take materials, Boltor prime arguably too. Could finish that thing,

only missing the BP, never gonna make it though.

 

I just think, all in all, there's no sense, and that nerfing the Brakk is simply nothing but being annoying.

It's been ages since I've actually seen someone wielding one too. I never seem to notice people wielding one,

and the only reason I really even use mine is because as a wielder of the Synapse and Ichors, my weapons

sorta already look like modern art, so I figured the Brakk would fit right in.

I remember topics once a day about the OP Soma and yeah all god tier weapons could use a nerf.

The sad part is that the Brakk beats all of them.

So many are asking for something hard to fight against, ignoring that our broken guns make everything a joke.

That reasoning has been raised a lot as well but what's the point? I get my variety yes but I'm under performing because of my choice. I'de like my variety and have them all be viable options when compared to each other. There's no reason not to have them as equals or at least marginally close.

 

You are doing it wrong. What you should do is petition DE to merge all "shotgun" secondaries into 1 single weapon. Then just release new skins for that weapon every week.

 

That way, there will be no penalty for your "variety". The stats will be the exact same, but everyone can have a weapon that looks "different." This would be so awesome, it would revolutionise warframe like what Apple did for the PC industry.

Makes no sense to Nerf any weapon since the game is constantly changing. who knows a new enemy will be released that makes Brakk useless? people will change load outs to compensate. besides assassin weapons are pretty tough to get anyway would suck to do all that farming to get something sub par.

No one said "hold up to," I just don't want any weapon to be patently inferior to any other. Everything should have at least one reason for you to use it, and while some weapons are allowed to be stronger than others, the gap between damage should not be anywhere near as great as it is now. DPSframe clocks the Marelok at doing around 15k. Brakk does twice that, coming out at around 30k. The Spectra, which is also clan tech and mastery rank 4 is very close in terms of research and build requirements to the Marelok, yet it does only about 4k. This is utterly baffling, and frankly I can't see any possible justification for it.

 

We don't need weapons equal, but they need to be a whole lot closer to equal than they are now, because this sets a dangerous precedent that power creep is okay, if not encouraged. There needs to be some level of normalization. While I can't quote it as accurate,

Well, I build the Pyrana and played with it for the first time now. The weapon is good, and is the first automatic pistol shotgun, but that sound... where the devs have got it? Did they recorded it in a gymnasium? Because it looks like one.
