[DE]Momaw Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 If you are the game host, you can do a zorencopter maneuver as normal with Zephyr. She maintains the high launch speed throughout, and can cover a very large distance. If you are a game client, then Zephyr's "slow fall" feature will kick in immediately after the animation which cancels out your momentum.
[DE]Glen Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 This coming from the self-admitted copter-hater! LOL! In all seriousness, thanks :) I'll try to get someone to look at this.
Methanoid Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 its been that way since she first appeared, i assumed it was intended given that she can just use her powers to do better so i never bothered questioning it.

PentaParadox Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I always thought that Zephyr couldn't copter at all. Never hosted as Zephyr before.

I thought similarly until I noticed that it behaved differently for host and client, which seemed unlikely to be intentional. Would have noticed much earlier but I don't copter much.

Zonker Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Yes, we specificially tested this yesterday with clanmates. Clients only get about half the copter distance of the host due to the sudden slowdown.
