BabyChooChoo
Those aren't actually breasts and codpieces. They are, in fact, Orokin Energy Pouches that just happen to be shaped that way. So what you're saying is Saryn's booty is still real though...right? Hey, that's cool wit me.

Etsoree
If it was the case, there wouldn't be a need to 'craft' a new helmet and, using the Arcane variants, the passive boons and debuffs should take effect regardless of what helmet you wear since they could be morphed independently from the helmet and using different passive even when using an Arcane helmet that would normally provide a different kind of boon and debuff. Maybe we just don't know how to mutate properly and have to discover how.

likeitsillegal
If you want the answer to how the Tenno produce energy, then I think you have to first determine how the Infested do it because it's been hinted with a pretty heavy-hand that Warframes and the Infested are very distant relatives, at least via the technocyte virus. It may just be a design oversight, but you have hordes of Infested living in Derelict ships with no plausible food source other than the overgrowth there. I don't think they rely on photosynthesis largely because Tenno seem to spend most of their time in space under artificial light. It could be all they need is sleep or meditation. They're not exactly human, after all.
Demon-King-Lamb
The energy. Well young grasshopper! The energy we harvest and use, comes from baby seals and beavers. It is in their souls we gain power and strength to destroy Grineer.

Draciusen
This is my incomplete and probably entirely wrong theory, but for what it's worth: In the Ember Prime entry, the young child who burned the subject of the entry caused the burns spontaneously on physical contact. I can compare this to grabbing an electrically charged fence. It is infereable that the Tenno have large amounts of stored energy, perhaps infinite. It can be suggested that this energy is used to complete the bodies' various functions, without the need of sustenance. (As for what causes the difference in the Tenno's powers, I'm not positive. Varying exposure? Chance? The individuals themselves?) The energy you obtian in-game can be thought of as power for the suit to direct this innate energy into the abilities used in-game. In Excalibers' entry, it uses the wording "Conduit" to describe the function of the Warframe, and the Arid Fear event entry suggests this again. But if this is hypothetically true, then why can't the suits use the Tenno's innate power, and has to rely on energy gained from external sources? Is the Tennos' innate energy just too overwhelming to rely on so heavily? Perhaps it's to limit what the Tenno can do, to an extent. The Tenno scared the Orokin, so perhaps they limited them out of fear? (A very valid fear, as it happens.) Is there some trait of the Sentients that we don't know about that is the reason? There's not enough information. Just my thoughts on it. Given the amazing abilities that the Warframes possess, their innate energy is probaby split between the keeping them alive and powering the suit (AKA mod energy and the UI). I wholeheartedly believe it is the suit that allows them to do such amazing things (AKA how every Warframe is a parkour master), and the Tenno just supply the power for it to do those things. Of course, from Ember Prime's lore, it also implies that the suit is adjusted to how the power manifests in the Tenno to better utilize it, because lore-wise there are only a few Tenno and each would have their own exclusive suit. Naturally, the Warframes are incapable of harnessing the energy from the Tenno to use for abilities, and are only capable of using external sources. But if modded (Energy Siphon), they're capable of harnessing the energy naturally, albeit slowly. As for the auras stacking, all I can think of is that a Tenno Squad have a shared connection system that somehow allows them to share that. Outside of missions I think Tenno just go into a meditative state they can sustain indefinitely. Edited June 6, 2014 by Draciusen
(PSN)Exoject
I think of the Warframes as batteries and amplifiers. Each Tenno has a certain amount of energy, it is neither consumable, or replaceable. It simply is. Think of it as a Soul. When a Tenno equips a Warframe, after all, it is a suit, that suit is powered by the Tenno's power, however the Warframes abilities consume additional energy which is not sustainable by the Tenno. Think of it like a key. It is a constant, never changing, and on it's own, not very special. And then there's your car. On it's own it's a big paperweight with potential explosive energy and electricity. On their own, the key, nor the car, have any special traits. But when they react together, it's a pretty cool display of energy, inertia, engineering, and combustion. I think that when you're not playing, the Tenno are crafting, eating, sleeping, etc. While it's never really made clear, most MMOs and RPG's dont really explain this either. So that's my two cents.
