Sechura Defence Instant Mission Failed.

Mission instantly failed us at wave 41 after we chose to continue from wave 40 so we pretty much lost all bonus exp but if defence saves progress every 5 waves then I'm not feeling too bad about it since I didn't lose my mods that I gained from the mission but I never keep track of what I have so I'm quite unsure whether or not it saved.

 

But anyway, has anybody else experienced this? I now understand why some others experience it on ODD/T3 since it consumes the key if host leaves hence the fail but on a normal mission, it's quite odd.
