[Mission Type] Falcon

Mission is designed to bring intensity and a bit of variety to playstile.

 

Cut scene :

Your warfame heads to the piloting console of the ship and sits down. Quickly puts in some value and the ships rushes to o meeting point in the system. As you approach 3 other Liset ships are already waiting, motionless in space.

The screen jumps to a far off ship heavily surrounded by smaller ships and enitiys.

 

Lotus : (appearing in your cockpit.)

The situation is dire Tenno.

The enemy spy (corpus/grineer) have managed to gather precious intel on our activities and important locations.  Our fellow operatives have failed to capture him previously , only managing to damage the ship.

Currently it has stopped for repairs but it has a heavy host of units guarding it .

He is aware we are coming !!!

 

Cut scene :

A large Tenno ship de-cloaks in front of you .

Lotus :

Your are to board our “calyx” experimental ship  alongside your fellow tenno, and forcefully make your way to the enemy ship where you are to abduct or eliminate the spy.

The ship is mounted with 4 defense station that need to be manned. Good luck!

 

Mission Stage 1 :

You are in a tenno ship with multiple path leading to defense stations.  (screen will inform which are manned)

There is also a console that lets you choose the following setting for the ships descent :

Slow speed (high armor) , medium speed (high health), fast speed (high shields)

Once inside a short countdown will start that will start the ship.

The defense stations :

-          cannons that you can fire at enemys , they can be moved around to a degree only

-          each cannon guards a part of the ship (left , right , top , bottom)

-          you have additionally 4 unique abilities to help kill , similar to warframe abilitys.

-          Abilities use energy from the ship . If too much is used the ship slows down significantly.

 

Mission Stage 2 :

Your back in the ship , a  tenno pod opens up which you have to bord and activte in order to get to the enemy ship.  Once on the enemy ship you have to make your way and capture the spy

Lotus :

The spy has activated the self destruct sequence .

Get to him and get out before the time runs out.

 

Rewards:

-          Mods

-          Tenno armor – chance , rare

-          Tenno syndana – chance , rare

 

Pros :

-          Can be used with all factions.

-          Adds intensity to the mission

-          Cutscenes are short

-          New perceptive to battles.

-          Defense consoles have same abilitys regardless of warframe

-          Kills at stage 1 affect the enemys remaining on the ship at stage 2

-          Larger team friendly mission

-          Energy for abilitys grows on its own, affected by aura mods)

Cons :

-          Kills at stage 1 affect the enemies remaining on the ship

-          Ship has health , may lose oxygen at some point if damaged,window gets cracked, you can be damaged.

-          A bit harder to solo than with a team

-          Ship slows down if its low or if its out of energy.

-          Abilitys cost energy (grows on its own, affected by aura mods)

 

Comments :

Devstream 30 "the dreaded words : Wouldn't it be awesome to ....."

In this case the millennium falcon[star wars] was the inspiration for the idea to battle from inside of a ship. Millennium falcon having multiple guns that need to be manned.

So why not bring that experience of overwhelming ods and intensity to a mission in warframe ???

Extra cutscene : 

As the tenno ships leave a small drone makes its way out of the rubble and fly's off into space.
