By now quite a few people have Hydroid, I imagine, But that's not really the problem. It's Vay Hek's pretty annoying grind wall, which at best seems to be fairly intolerable compared to Lephantis' (which I don't mind in the slightest). Cutting to the chase, if we're not going to remove Hek's Triangulator, I'd personally think it should at least become reusable once built.

 

Not only to give the remaining players a sporting chance to farm him, but also to give them a chance to experience his fight, which is actually pretty fun in my opinion.

It doesn't feel like DE would give us reusable triangulators, considering how void and derelict keys are consumable.  With that in mind, it might be nice to have a version of Hek readily available on the star map, and reserve keys for a harder version of Hek.  Regular Hek can continue to drop Hydroid pieces, with Nightmare Hek offering different rewards.

I have Hydroid but I still like fighting bosses from time to time. Its ridicules how difficult to reach Hek is. I mean I know its warfarm and all but thats just overdoing it. I say have all beacons have an equal droprate and even out the amount needed for each. Away with the stupid rare drops.

Yes, remove, or at the very least reduce.

 

Have fought him 3 times, each time joining a clan mate with a key.

Still have not managed to craft my own key because of Delta beacons.

 

I have Hydroid from those 3 runs, that is not the reason for my upvote, I just think it would be an idea to let players actually play the new content rather than hide it.

Yep. He's one boss that I will never encounter for the rest of my Warframe career because I simply don't care enough to go through the massive grind wall again.

wow. That actually pretty damn near perfect. solves/justifies both the annoying grind wall and the lack of an earth boss. even solves the tile set shift (go to ceres to grind to go to earth....wat.)!! nice thinking!!

 

edit: going to clarify

1.) moving the "regular" Hek to Earth restores a boss to that planet, and, at the same time, makes hydroid more access able (no more stupid arbitrary grind!)

 

2.)Syncs up hek with the planet he is protrayed on, solving the rather large lore skip of going to ceres to grind Hek's elite guard (why aren't they guarding him?) to go back to earth to fight against him.

 

3.) justifies the grind wall on ceres as it is now a "hard mode" boss, and access should be more restrictive to prevent players from being under-prepared/overwhelmed. (also adds more depth to fight: round 2 is an upgraded hek, bigger risk, bigger reward.)
