AVEOX Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) I mean I know how, but with the new system ( I don't even know when this changed). My Fusion Cores are all stacked up and I don't understand something..... So I'm trying to rank a mod: Click on the stacks of 56 C3 Cores.. Now why does it suddenly say 41 available? When it said there were 56? Edited June 6, 2014 by AVEOX
Dalimir Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 It says 41 available because that's the number of cores the game has calculated you will need to max the mod you are fusing (or get it to one rank below maxed) so it helps to not waste any cores. Also, by Hayden's Glaive! I've never seen so many Rare 5s in one place!
Fo0otsteps Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 im guessing it's because you would need 41 C3's to hit max rank, so it doesn't let you use more since you can't fuse beyond max rank (duh)
Prod_Crewman Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 cuz you need 41 to max the mod, oh wait, 56 rare fusion cores?! you`re my friend arent you? hehee NAYAHAHAHHAHAA
Archistopheles Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Also note that even though it takes 41 cores (in your example) 40 cores may get you to 99% and that last core might be mostly wasted. I would use 40 (if you have to) and then use mods with matching polarities to cap it out completely.
inthephonebox Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Hah, 56 R5s is nothing. I had 141 a couple weeks ago and then I spent them all at once to almost max serration and hornet strike. Now I need to farm about for all the other super high rank mods.
RespectTheInternet Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) So essentially the fusing was streamlined by consolidating all those many cores into a single stack. The game automatically calculates the number of X mod you need to fuse to complete it over the number you actually have. OR you can push that fancy fusion core button at the bottom left for the game to fuse for you, but you do get to preview it before hand obviously. Edited June 6, 2014 by RespectTheInternet

AVEOX Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 Thanks everyone! It says 41 available because that's the number of cores the game has calculated you will need to max the mod you are fusing (or get it to one rank below maxed) so it helps to not waste any cores. Also, by Hayden's Glaive! I've never seen so many Rare 5s in one place! I haven't fused for a very long time that's why haha.
Darzk Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I actually really dislike the new system. Its nice for using a ton of cores at once, but we already had auto fuse for that. Its a total pain to try to level something partially. Pick a number, is it enough? Nope, pick a higher number, rinse and repeat :S

My Fusion Cores are all stacked up and I don't understand something.....
So I'm trying to rank a mod:
Click on the stacks of 56 C3 Cores..
Now why does it suddenly say 41 available? When it said there were 56?
