No crit, no stat, pure damage, multishot, and elemental.

What I role with:

I like to make Viral/Electric, or Corrosive/Cold, so the D polarity doesn't need to go for me. Other's usage may vary.

Fast hands because I don't like the long reload, and speed trigger because its a carryover from the standard Boltor. Replace with Ammo mutation for longer missions.

If it's against the grineer go with what CrimsonShinku said on replacing high voltage with Shred for more dps or Bane of Grineer for more damage per bullet. For Corpus and Infested use Bane of Corpus/Infested or Shred instead of High Voltage and use Stormbringer + Cryo Rounds for Magnetic against Corpus while rocking toxin since toxin damage ignores their shields. For infested, Infected Clip and Stormbringer because toxic ancients and ancient disruptors hate corrosive and are currently the biggest threats imo, while using fire for the weaker things which leaves you an extra mod spot for more fire rate, reload speed, or a bane mod depending on set up

this is pretty good advice, the only place where i would pretty much ALWAYS have shred on is grineer because eff shield lancers, but it does come nice everywhere else if you can put the punch through to good use. i don't suggest going to crazy on speed because even if DPS goes up, damage per bullet does go down and that means wasted ammo.

don't put bane of anything unless you already have 3 elemental mods on it, otherwise it's a damage downgrade

eeeeh. I hate rules of thumb like that because they're often wrong.

If the 3rd element isn't a primary combo (for example adding Toxin to Grineer, which only gets +25%) Bane can be the better option.

Or if the 3rd element is only +60%.

I use:

Grineer: http://goo.gl/dgpjbV

Corpus: http://goo.gl/Deefuk

Infested: http://goo.gl/FL2Dbk (Ancient Killer) http://goo.gl/sX9jyS (Lessers Killer)

Void: http://goo.gl/X61MMv

well it's of course assumming you put the mods with the biggest multipliers in, otherwise you're doing something wrong and it's not bane that needs replacing.

edit: and even if all the single/combinations give 75% bonus, a bane is preferred than a 4th elemental

Hehe. Unless the 4th element converts the 3rd into another primary combined element, such as the case with creating Viral to go with Rad for Grineer.

See? :D

hmm, actually after going around and doing the math it seems you are correct. on a sort of related business, i need to go and know how does armor and procs affect each other nowadays damage-wise, since wouldn't a stormbringer+high-voltage+hellfire+bane be better damage due to armor scaling?

Boltor Prime is so powerful most things are dead before procs really come into play. For endless def/survivals your team needs to be using 3-4 CP auras anyways, so armor is less of a concern.

Okay so now, say I wanna make my build to focus on Corpus. How do I make my current build a corpus build without replacing any of the current mods equipped but instead rearranging the mods to create such a build? What elemental damage do I need other than viral and radiation? I wanna make a corpus build because they're taking over the map on PS4 warframe.
