Mag's Crush Needs To Be Reworked

Pull works in one direction. Crush is 360 degrees.

Disagree.

 

What game are you playing where Crush has CC?

 

The problem with Crush right now is that, if the damage doesn't kill the mobs, their animation pops right back to normal, while Mag takes a ~.25sec animation 'cool down' or something. So you're stuck getting aimbotted by a crowd of enemies for .25 sec, which is death on 30+ anything, even with Mag's great shields.

 

Bigger range just means you've aggro'd more enemies to shoot you.

 

The community has suggested plenty of ways to make Crush viable.

until you realize that cc only counts towards enemies currently in the ults range,any outside enemies will shoot you and because of it's long casting time they could kill you.it's an issue and can turn deadly but i say it's a fair trade off for the range

 

but the main reason why i almost never use crush in any high lvl mission is because it turns into a dam death sentence the second your done casting it as enemies immediately start firing at you.

only use i have found for any high lvl mission is when someone needs too be revived and they need some breathing room.

 

so at the end of the day it's a very niche cc ult with a high risk of death if your not snuggled into a wall somewhere.the risk is not worth it in my opinion over say a pull that can easily cc better without locking you in place.

like i said in other crush topics,it needs something,whether that be ragdoll at the end of the cast,stun,a slow,a magnetic shield that stops bullets from hitting mag for a couple seconds,anything.

All I can say is... I've removed ALL Mags abilities and replaced them with enhancements to allow her to run and kill faster.

Funny thing about this is that ALL frames can do this with positive results.  Unfortunately, fundamental game skill is viewed as unnecessary by most players who rely on overpowered or poorly designed (lazy) frame abilities to ferry them through content.

as opposed too what?soma or boltor prime carrying them through content?

this game is not very skill intensive honestly.not saying there is not a difference between moderate and a skilled player,but in the current state of the game it's like comparing a skilled cashier too just a normal cashier.

Weapons being too strong is another thing that makes people lazy and expect to never die in any content.
