kasalaba Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 I have been looking for some stance mods for a while. And let me just say. Most of them I got from trading. The drop rates are impossible. I run more than a week straight the same survival mission just hoping to get it. And there are these two or three a holes that either want a ton of platinum to give it or a full Rhino prime set and a coffee to trade. I am sorry but this is just wrong. DE should do something about it. Because lets be honest, you can't enjoy you new shiny melee weapon if it doesn't have a stance on it.
Vheraun Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 If I may shamelessly promote my own thread, here's what I think will make a difference with mods and RNG.
Shehriazad Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 I think only 1 type of stances is too rare...the Single Sword ones'Single Swords are your first weapon type...yet finding a stance for them and thus learning more about stances before you move on to other weapons won't happen for most new players.Kind of a disappointment.
Cyborger1 Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 (edited) I've been hunting for crimson dervish for weeks. SO MANY MIMAS MISSIONS Never got it. Although the other day, I'm just doing some invasion and I find a gnashing payara. I transmute in hope of maybe getting crimson dervish, I got a pointed wind. I have 3 iron phoenix. I have 2 crushing ruin. I have 2 tranquil cleave. Still no dervish. RNG makes it so you never get what you're looking for. Edit: Also, can't wait to try and get gleaming talon. calabi Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 I've being trying to get the grim fury stance mod. I've kept a tally of how many powerfists I've killed in trying to get it(I was bored and I hate rng, especially faux computer rng). 139 so far, thats since I've been counting, the total number is higher. They've only dropped mods 4 times and I think they were just sentinel mods. I cant say specifically if there is a pattern or not but they dropped twice in two different maps, each time two powerfist dropped mods reasonably close to one another. If the pattern plays out I will have to kill roughly another 40 for another mod drop.
